Really cosy cottage. Equipped with everything you need.

Would be better with a TV in the downstairs bedroom. Quite a few big cobwebs in the upstairs bedroom but just need a feather duster. Other than that - excellent.

loved the balcony but cleaned it down myself as it was dirty and no comfy furniture to sit outside, just a bench

Have stayed in similar but Tollgate cottages are more spacious making this ideal for family. Great location near beach and handy parking.

Really needs outdoor furniture. A picnic bench is simply not enough. Fortunately I anticipated this and bought my own furniture but shouldn’t need to. Holiday homes also need a bbq now we’re in the 22st century. All inexpensive items that can easily be covered to provide years of use.

The tv was much too high on the wall. Older people would have trouble sleeping on the single beds as they were too low. The outside space was not clean or comfortable and the front door step was not marked and was a trip hazard.

What a find. The location was perfect for us, being right by the sea front and not far from the dog-friendly areas of the beach. We enjoyed meals and drinks at the Old Fort and the Boat House, which were around 5-10 minutes walk in either direction from the property. It's a pleasant stroll into Ryde too. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable, and the enclosed outside space was perfect for us to sit out and enjoy the fresh air without worrying that the dogs could escape. We would highly recommend this property and area, and we are extremely keen to come back!
