The scene was beautiful

First of foremost we appreciate the opportunity to had been able to check- in early and the attentiveness/communicated between from the property manager. However, I’m going to rate this rental a 2/unsatisfactory. Upon an arrival the place seem decent. It did have an old distinctive smell to it. We did not due an initial inspection as it was not required and we left not long after arriving. However, we came back and started to welcome our stay there were many deficiencies found throughout the first night and were not going to be able to fix completely. Stain/dirty carpet throughout the home. It was apparent that it was vacuum but the certainty of cleanliness is not evident. kitchen: refrigerator/ freezer was not completely clean. dishes were dirty/ stained. pans were dirty and sticky from grease. coffee/spices were not available or readily displayed. Faucet needs to be replaced. room on the main floor: The door had a hole. Blinds missing. The door is not able to close easily and when shut close it’s hard to open. Was stuck for a few minutes trying to get to open because did not want to break the door. The comforter is old. The fact that there is no backboard between the bed and the window is annoying, as you constantly hit your head/hands to it. living room: furniture is old. found a feather in one of the chairs. game room are: biggest thing here is old furniture and the state of the carpet as mentioned above. Bathroom upstairs: Clean. soap and towels were available. Bathroom door cannot be easily closed. Have to push hard to close. Bedrooms on second floor: Carpets dirty. Bed linen is old. Again, for the bigger room separation between bed and wall is recommended. Overall the price of 989.35 is WAY OVERPRICED for what the status of the property is. The view is amazing, however the upkeep and presentation of the home is not. Very old and not updated will be the best to describe.
