Despite rather mixed weather, we had some lovely walks along the coast. Norton House is a perfect base to explore the Mumbles and Swansea (the Dylan Thomas Centre is well worth a visit). We had two delicious dinners in the restaurant during our stay.

Lovely room, great service, excellent food. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Room was warm, clean and comfortable, with sufficient storage space for our needs. Thick carpets everywhere meant it felt cosy, quiet and luxurious. Our only issue (a small one) was the extractor in the bathroom did not work, but beyond needing to open a window, which we do anyway, it was not a problem and staff endeavoured to resolve it very quickly. Plenty of parking. Quiet at night.

Ambiance, excellent food - at breakfast and dinner.

Our room was pretty awful. Down a long corridor with dirty carpet, with lots of stairs and twists and turns. It wasn't very clean in that we found a squashed mosquito in the bathroom, several hair grips on the floor and a fingernail on the bathroom floor. One of the beds was old and creaky and pretty uncomfortable. The other was fine. The TV must have had a fault and kept turning itself on and the room was v noisy with zero sound proofing and clanging pipes. The breakfast, however, was fabulous.

My husband and I stayed for one night. The room was very clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The shower head was loose and ended up spraying water all over the bathroom. The TV did nit work properly and the window blind fell down.the staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the customer service was brilliant. The food was amazing and well presented and we received a free bottle of wine with our dinner. Location was great for Mumbles - regular bus goes into Swansea.

Couple of nights shirt break with a friend

We wanted somewhere close to Mumbles with adequate parking and a good breakfast and Norton Hose was ideal.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and our bags were carried upstairs for us since there are no elevators. We especially liked that we could order specifically what we wanted to eat for the hot part of the breakfast. There were many choices on both the cold buffet and on the menu for the hot breakfast. The location is perfect, with easy access to shops and pubs in Mumbles. Norton House Hotel is just off of Mumbles Rd., making it a quieter location.

We’re very familiar with the area as some members come from nearby. We return to the area several times a year

Visiting friends and family in the area so we were familiar with the hotel's location.

We have stayed at Norton house on several occassions and have always received a warm welcome. The staff are very friendly and helpfull and the restaurant is first class. The hotel is very conveniently situated for getting into Swansea City, Mumbles and the Gower.

A welcoming break for a few days, Im in the same trade and was a needed break. Great area to going walking along the seafront which is only a minute to the beach.
