Beachfront Family Retreat Cottage and Carriage House

Camp Ellis Beach n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied et Saco River à 9 minutes, vous pouvez donc laisser votre voiture dans le parking dont dispose l'hébergement.
De retour de votre escapade, regagnez votre petit nid pour les vacances afin de vous détendre grâce à un jardin, à une terrasse privée où déguster un savoureux cocktail ou encore à du mobilier d'extérieur. Une fois rentré de vos explorations, profitez des joies de l'intérieur : Wi-Fi gratuit, télévision et lecteur DVD.
Un salon, un barbecue et la climatisation équipent également cette location avec 8 chambres et 4 salles de bain. My friends and I spent a weekend at the beachfront property for a bachelorette and the place was perfect! Everyone kept asking how we found this place because it had everything you needed and more. The beach is directly behind the property and you can visit the Old Orchard Pier just 10 minutes down the road. The property owner left notes around the house with instructions and wifi information which was super helpful. The garage even had beach toys and chairs.
One of the nights we had a hibachi vendor come to cook for us in the backyard. Having the 3 tables already in the backyard made it super easy to accomodate everyone for dinner.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking.
As an FYI, there are about 4 parking spots in the driveway with one on the street. We've been told there are side streets you can park on as well.

The house was great for us. We utilized every bedroom and sleeping space. The view and the sound of the ocean was awesome. The beach was mostly quiet and we had many fires in the fire pit. The kitchen was well equipped.
The two double beds on the second floor were a little challenging because you had to walk through to get to the third floor and we kept waking people up but we got around it.

We had an amazing stay with 5 families at this beach house! The house fit us all very comfortably and all 10 kids had the best time exploring the beach, the backyard, and the neighborhood. The house is at the end of a dead end street and was perfect for biking and scooter riding! The kids all loved riding over to the general store right around the corner to get candy and ice cream. Would highly recommend this house and would definitely come again :).

The property was a great location right on the ocean. Great for a group of our 11 who stayed there. The only issue for us was a that no bathroom towels or bed linens are provided. It was noted in the details but you really had to search for it and we missed it in our review. So we were significantly surprised when we got there and had to run to a WalMart store to buy towels, washcloths, bed linens etc before we could stay there. I would highly suggest to the manager that they note this in a more prominent location in their listing so others don’t get the same surprise we had.
Otherwise our group enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the sunrises in the early morning, the fire pit was a great plus and being able to walk outside to the beach was magnificent. Plenty of room inside for everyone to gather and visit..

What a beautiful property.. We have been going to Maine for a annual family trip for about 25 years and as our family has gotten bigger, we get more cramped on our vacations.. Not here! At one point there were 18 of us at the house and not once did we feel cramped. We hope to rent again next year if the house is still available. Also, Nick, the property manager, was always extremely helpful and answered very quickly when we needed him. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here with 10 children and 8 adults and never felt cramped. The yard and the proximity to the beach are what made our stay. Plenty of room for the kids to play and it was about 40-50 feet to get to get to the ocean.

We always enjoy our time here. The house and cottage provide plenty of comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. The view and sound of the waves is amazing and it is wonderful to sit around the fire pit in the evening.

Peekytoe Cottage was perfect for our group. Enough bedrooms, bathrooms and comfortable seating inside & out. The kitchen had all we needed and the views were amazing. We got some beautiful pics.

Meeting the needs of seventeen adults & children is a tall order but Peekytoe Cottage did just that! The layout, spaciousness, cleanliness and fully stocked kitchen were ideal. The property manager, Nick, was very responsive during our stay as we reached out with clarifying questions. We were very happy with all aspects of our stay!

We had such a great time with our kids and grandkids! The perfect location for the kids to play right out front of the house in the sand if we don’t want to go down to the beach and then just steps down to the beach. We thought there would be a problem with beach access because the property next to us was a private beach but you have access to anything below the high tide line and then there’s a public beach literally steps on the other side. The fire pit was a must for us as we love sitting around it to relax in the evening. There was plenty of room for all of us and the addition of air-conditioning last year was a huge plus! The memories created will last a lifetime! The property has everything you need for a fun filled week! Nick was very responsive to our needs Would highly recommend this property!

Amazing Beach house
We loved this house!!! Views of the ocean, sun set, moon rise, fire pit and good times. Good views from the bedrooms. It was a great place to stay and enjoy time together. I wish they provided sheets, pillow cases and towels. Would be willing to pay more for this convenience.

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The cottages were spotless upon check in. It had all the amenities you could want. Rooms were pleasant and decorated in a beach theme. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and three children. Parking was not an issue as there are 5 spots on site and 2 passes for a lot 1/2 mile away. There is also free parking for up to 14 days at the Saco Train Station 10 minutes away. The only issue is the use of the beach. It appears that renters would have to stay below the high tide line which means if high tide is during the mid-day there would be no beach access. However I would definetly rent again.

Perfect Getaway
Truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere! Wonderful cottage with everything you could ask for. Quiet and relaxing but close enough drive for a fun night out. The only downfall was the extreme heat these last few days - no A/C but lots of fans available. (Even the coastal breeze was lacking) Still enjoyable! Great communication and response from Nick! Would definitely book again!!

Great place!
The house and carriage house were both in good shape and are amazingly located! The property has a small beachfront and has access to the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the great weather we had. Wish it provided linens and towels, but outside of that highly recommend. Nick was also very easy to coordinate with.

Family Reunion 2021
Property is great with exceptions. one is parking for this bigger place needs to be fixed. I paid an additional fee to a man at end of the street to park additional cars in his lot over the 13 days. $345 additional dollars. Beach access was somewhat restricted due to next door renters taking all open beach as theirs. But place and view fantastic. Weather could have been better but we made it work..
