From the first inquiry in the booking process, Sofia was very responsive and provided clear answers to my questions. When we arrived, she was there to greet us and give us an overview of the property, explaining all its features. A small grocery is close by. Wifi coverage is excellent. Sofia is friendly, thoughtful, and happy to help if you need anything. She loves to help you discover and enjoy all that the area has to offer. During our trip, a family member fell ill, and Sofia was extremely helpful. The home feels like a retreat. It's spotlessly clean, minimalist and yet well stocked and extremely comfortable. The layout is perfect: a great blend of comfortable spaces to enjoy time together, and enough room to retreat to the privacy of a bedroom, the garden, or pool. Every room has a beautiful view. The outdoor areas are gorgeous and practical: picnic table, some cozy spaces with chairs and tables to enjoy a coffee or drink and watch the sunrise or sunset. We appreciated having a washer and dryer. Everything worked perfectly. There are plenty of easily accessible walking trails, and the beautiful forest is just steps away. It is so peaceful! This home is the perfect combination of accessible and private. It was easy to get to Porto and surrounding areas for day trips. We’ll definitely try to book again next time we’re in the area. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and well equipped kitchen. A few extra comforts would be nice. Like extra bed pillows, towels and some basic items like hand soap, shampoo, paper towels, salt, pepper, and sugar. The host was lovely and very helpful and kind.

We enjoyed our time in Sophia home. The place is thoughtfully put together and only essential items. Our group enjoyed the pool, the extra toys in the garage and space to relax. Perfect get away from the city.

L’accueil a été grandement facilité par Sofia qui parle un français remarquable et s’est montrée très disponible par messages. La maison est tout simplement exceptionnelle et située dans un environnement calme, l’idéal pour une semaine entre amis. Le coucher de soleil au bord de la piscine est à ne surtout pas manquer !

We had great time. It is very stylish, modern and unusual property. There is everything you need. It is a place to remember. A few marks. It is close to highway and you can hear it. The garbage containers are far from the property and you have to go to throw it with your car full of garbage bags, really unpleasant experience. There is no soap to wash your hands, so you have to bring it. The towels are a bit out dated and doesn’t correspond with the class of the property. But overall it is a great place and can only recommend it.

Nous avons loué cette maison pour un week-end entre copines. La maison est magnifique, les installations de qualité, la literie confortable. Malgré sa situation assez isolée les taxis ont accepté de nous conduire jusque là mais les prix sont très variables. Je recommande cette location !

We had a great time in this house which is about 15 minutes from Porto. We were surprised that we could even see the Atlantic Ocean on a clear day. Sofia gave us a friendly welcome and showed us around, gave us tips on shopping and local contacts like a cab service. We felt comfortable at all times and if we had any questions Sofia was there for us. We would be happy to visit the house again.

Definitely the place to stay.

We chose this Home essentially due to its location. It is close enough to Porto and major highways, to be practical, yet far enough to feel you are out of the tourist areas (rather isolated in fact, but we like that) . But also due to the fact that we have a large family. It turned out to be a great place for our family (seven adults). The host Sofia, was very helpful and available throughout. Even though our flight got delayed and the car rental messed up our check-in so we arrived first at 1.30am she was waiting for us and spent time getting us settled. She directed us to key grocery shopping and nearby restaurants. All in all, a very nice place with superb views of the mountain range. Not the last time we will use this home.
