Summer vacation family w 3 kids. The house I believe is the most beautiful on the street. For families this is a dream vacation rental! While you unpack you will notice the extensive cleanliness of the property. I cooked every meal for my children and everything I needed was in the kitchen even olive oil salt some of the spices. I took my time open all the cabinets to get to know where everything was it was delighted. We use one table for dining and we kept the one table for the kids to do their sticker arts and make collages and to play board games. This gave us the opportunity to keep games out without putting them away and enjoying them night after night! Have an a large TV in every bedroom the bathtub and the living room gives opportunities for large groups to be extremely cared for. The windows were my absolute favorite watching deer I saw one bobcat and there’s a huge eagles nest on the property I was watching closely! Inside the garage you will find a small exquisite work out room with one of those luxury specialty bicycles. Inside the garage you’ll find bikes for every size there was at least seven or eight bikes plus helmets! Basketball court in the driveway was my daughters favorite. Getting inside the house was extremely easy anything that I had a question about was answered quickly. I am extremely organized and was well pleased with the house. The new master bedroom with deluxe bathroom is a definite must see! We appreciate the owners!

We had a wonderful stay here and wish it didn’t have to end. The house is exactly as described and is perfect for multiple families! Our kids loved the “kids room” (bunk beds). It provided a great space for kids to spend time so the adults could visit in the den. My family visits Kiawah every year and one of our favorite things to do is to ride bikes on the incredible bike paths the island provides! We bring our bikes, but the fact that the house already has bikes for their guests is a huge bonus and adds so much value to this property! Most guests who visit the island have to rent bikes . We thoroughly enjoyed the house and we hope to return in the future!

I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, but none can quite compare to “Salt Air” in Kiawah. I’ll touch first on the physical location of the house on the island. It is so convenient vs. staying somewhere more towards the Ocean Course for example. You’re a 6 minute drive to Freshfields for groceries, a short walk/bike ride to The Nest for coffee, a 3 minute bike ride to beach access. The house itself is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, right next to a pond. As for the actual home, it truly felt like that, a home. Every single thing was thought of. There were coffee beans, extra toiletries, dishwasher pods, board games, beach chairs, bikes / helmets for the whole family (with tires fully inflated and a pump in case they weren’t), beach towels, etc. These little details made us feel so comfortable, at home and really able to fully relax. Communicating with Cole, was like having my own personal concierge. I received a response in just a few minutes anytime I sent a message. My wife forgot her hair dryer, so I messaged to see if there was one there. He said yes but sometimes it gets moved around by guests. Just in case, he ordered one to the house to make sure my wife had a hair dryer. We were blown away by that level of service, pun intended. All in all, you will not regret staying at “Salt Air.” The house is gorgeous. Everything was easy. It encourages you to relax, disconnect and be with your family and/or friends. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone! 10/10!!

The house lacked basics like body wash and shampoo in bathrooms. Towels old and need to be replaced. Sheets felt like polyester and cheap. Comforter had stains.

Such a well accommodated house, with plenty of room for multiple families. Great memories made grabbing bikes from the garage and going on a sunset bike ride to the beach. Really nice being within a community with parks, bike paths, restaurants, etc. Amazing and responsive host!

This property exceeded our expectations in every category! Just a short drive in from the gate, this gorgeously remodeled 5 bedroom home was a wonderful haven for our extended family of 9. 5 adults and 4 teenagers, we had plenty of space to spread out and relax, or hang out together. 2 master suites, two dining areas, well appointed kitchen and a garage full of bikes for all of us to use. A trunk full of board games, a peloton, a giant bald eagles nest outside the house. I could go on and on. A short bike ride to the beach or to the Nest Market, fantastic location. The kids and adults loved playing basketball outside as well. The pictures do not do this wonderful place justice, it’s exceptionally gorgeous in person. The host was super friendly and responsive, we loved every minute of our vacation and cannot wait to stay here again. The welcome basket was also a lovely touch. Of all the places we’ve stayed in Kiawah, this was our absolute favorite! Quick drive to Freshfields as well for shopping or dining. A++++++

We have enjoyed our second vacation at this property. Communication is great and the home is perfect. The rooms are quiet and amenities were just perfect. Having the bikes available is a real plus. We loved the remodel and additional bedroom. Everything was clean and home well cared for.

We stayed here with another family. There were two sets of adults and four children, ages, five, eight, 11, and 13. The location of this house cannot be beat. It was exactly as it was shown in the pictures, perhaps even a little bit better. In the morning, the light shone through the windows and created a very serene environment. The house is a very short bike ride to boardwalk 12. We rode there almost every day. It’s also a very short distance to the Night Heron Park. There are lots of activities for kids to do there, as well as families. We enjoyed the amenities of Kiawah Island , including having drinks at the Sanctyary, and having some meals both on and off the island. The house itself has a very large kitchen, with plenty of places for everybody to sit down and eat. The couch is very comfortable. All of the beds were very comfortable, as well. The addition of having a workout room was something we all enjoyed. The kitchen is really well stocked, in fact, they had an appliance for almost everything! (An air frye, regular coffee maker, keurig, slow cooker, microwave). We had one very minor issue, and it was addressed very quickly by the owner. He was incredibly responsive and attentive to our needs throughout the stay. One thing to mention for future guest is that the house has everything you need, including bicycles, beach chairs, linens, paper towels etc. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Stunning house less than a mile from the beach, and centrally located to access the pool, parks, golf courses, stores, etc. The check in process was flawless, with response times faster than any rental we have ever had. We loved the selection of board games for date/family night and the array of bike options to take on the trail. Kitchen, bathrooms, and living space were fantastic! Seriously, when can we come back?!?! Can’t wait to do it again

Excellent location. Short bike ride to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Home is nicely renovated and comfortable for our group. Owner was great to work with— quick responses and helpful.

We’ve been renting places at kiawah for years. This was an exceptional house for our group of 8. The location was an easy bike ride to everything on the island. The newly renovated Master bed and bath was super nice and great closet space with shelves. I loved the peloton and used it several times during the week. Having access to extra beach chairs and bikes was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked. The owner was great communicating with us and extremely helpful with any needs we had. To top it all off when we left we forgot an expensive workout bar and the owner shipped it out for us right away! Would definitely stay here again and recommend for large families.

We visit Kiawah multiple times a year and this has been one of our favorite houses. The location is great - quick bike ride to Night Heron, Nest, Sanctuary, etc. and boardwalk 18 was easy to get to and has access to restrooms! The house was roomy and my kids ages 6, 8 and 10 enjoyed the outdoor activities at the house. Updated primary suite was really nice and soaker tub with TV was a nice touch that I looked forward to after long days at the beach. We will be back!

My family stayed here and had a blast. Great location and close to everything Kiawah has to offer. House has everything you could possible need! We liked it so much we booked a return trip for 2023!

This was our 2nd stay at this property and it was just as amazing (if not better) than the first time! The house was super clean and comfortable. We saw deer and even a bald eagle out in the yard, watching from all of the windows was always so fun. We took advantage of all of the bikes and had an amazing time. The owner is extremely responsive and super kind! Can't wait to come back here!

We loved our stay in this lovely house. The location is perfect & the amenities are wonderful. We loved having the bikes to explore the island. This is the perfect house for families traveling with children or multigenerational groups like ours. We would absolutely stay here again.

So far it was nicest house we’ve stayed in on Kiawah. Minutes on the bike to the beach and Sanctuary. Very close to beautiful big playground. House is very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, plenty of toys and bikes for large family. Owner is quick to respond to messages and most helpful with any requests/questions. What a wonderful time it was in that house!

It was very good! We had two more children come so the tent was a fun distraction for them and all the beds in one room they loved. With 3 children under 4, another bathroom would have been nice.

This was our first visit to Kiawah Island, and we were lucky enough to stumble upon this property. The house is gorgeous, and the host has put a lot of thought into making it the ideal family vacation home. From the welcome gift basket, to the exercise room, to the garage full of bicycles and beach gear... it was everything we were hoping for and more. Although there are 71 amenities, we had a last minute request for one more and Cole made it happen! I'm hoping we'll be lucky enough to stay at this property again in the future.

Stayed with my 80 yo parents adult children 25 21 and 18. Used the bikes every day. Lots of TVs and living area to chill or play games. Large kitchen, beds were comfortable, location great to get to the beach and owner has great accessories for the beach. Used the grill. Peloton access was great too. Would stay again for sure.

This is a great property for families to experience. Many amenities including bikes, a play room with lots of games and a front yard for all to enjoy!

This property was perfect for our family. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms spaced enough to add extra noise control for those wanting a late night. The bunk room was a huge hit for our granddaughter!! Spacious kitchen and 2 living areas made for a great vacation. The best feature was the availability of the bikes to make the journey to the beach easier. Property owner was great to work with and everything was smooth! We are looking forward to future trips here

We had a great time at Salt Air! Cole was very responsive throughout the booking process and throughout our stay! We had some travel issues and he tried to accomplish us as best as he could! If we come back to Kiawah in the near future we will look at this property FIRST for availability! Thanks for everything!

My family and I vacation at Kiawah 10-15 times a year and this is by far the best rental we have had yet! The house was super clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, our 2 kids LOVED the kid room with the bunk beds and tent. This house had everything you could possibly want. The trunk of board games was a huge hit! The bikes, tight rope and basketball goal all offered things that most rentals do not. My only regret is not booking our stay longer to begin with- hated to leave but will absolutely be back! Communication with Cole was fast and easy- a pleasure to work with and very fast to respond!

The home was clean, well appointed and accurately represented on VRBO. I thought it was great that they had bikes, chairs, etc. available for use. This is a great home for a family. Our only struggle is that there was only 1 common bathroom/shower (the other was in the master bedroom) and I was travelling with 3 golf buddies. I would recommend this property.

The house was beautiful and it was quiet. We seen deer in the yard. Everything was just as described. Beach is just down the road and enjoyed our time there. I plan on using this property again. Great trip and time away.
