The bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable. Location was handy. Although I would not stay here on the weekend due to noise from nightclub across the road

The air conditioning was terrible. Unable to adjust to a pleasant temperature. This is evident in other reviews of this property. Pillows were uncomfortable and to bulky. There needs to be a selection of different styles of pillows for guests.

Communication wasn’t great, I had requested a cot and car park and asked if there were additional charges before my flight to Cairns. Got a response back saying they put a note on my booking as per my request and there were no additional charges. Upon check-in I was charged car park and cot hire. I showed the reception the confirmation from the team that I was told there’s no additional charge and if I could speak to a manager on duty. But receptionist said it’s their policy to charge and a manager is not on duty until the next day. The next day came, I checked out wanting to speak to the manager on duty, but still no manager on duty until 11am, checkout was 10am and had to catch my flight. In the end, we paid the additional charges, without being able to dispute or show that there’s an issue with the teams communication.

Location was great & central to all. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Only dissapointment was the breakfast. Was not keen on it, for the price variety was standard.. Service, position & cleaningness was good. Not flexible with checkout, wanted to use facility & was limited.

Only ate breakfast there which was ok but nothing special. They only offered instant coffee with the breakfast included in the room rate, whereas it should be real coffee - I was told I would have to pay extra if I wanted real fresh coffee.

the air conditioner is set at 23’ and the temperature outside was 18’. Too uncomfortable to sleep in the room so had to sleep on the balcony for a few hours. Assistant Manager said she would negotiate a better room rate however has not acted on this.

Tried to check in at about 2:30 pm. Told that the room was not ready duty to a problem with the linen guy. Told to leave and come back later. No approximate time given. Really not happy with reception at that time. Came back half an hour later, no apology. Reception staff could do a lot better.

Location was ok

Smelled like mildew in hallways and room. Advertised the pool bar and restaurant was open with live music Friday nights and it was closed all Friday night.

Loved the modern look, staff were friendly and very competitive pricing. Very clean rooms and beautiful outlook.

The restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday for dinner. Pool was beautiful but didn’t have any umbrellas or options for shade.

Room was clean and beds were comfy. The bathroom is fabulous.

The noise that was going on with the renovation or works in room next door and further upstairs. Didn't like how the carpark exit gate was left open overnight and during the day

Having my stuff stolen and the constant Yelling you could hear outside the room and I was unable to sleep and woke up my guests.

Centrally located in Cairns. Close to all the main eating locations on the beach front. Within walking distance to the railway station.

The hotel was obviously undergoing upgrading. There was no electric jug in the room but there was a microwave. The room was booked for 3 adults but there was only utensils for 2.

When we arrived the room we were allocated wasn't cleaned. Poor communication between staff as the cleaner mentioned she told them it wasn't ready. The floor we were on was unrenovated, the bathroom full of mould, the quilt had blood on it and there was no shower curtain so water poured onto the bathroom floor and toilet. The restaurant wasn't open on Saturday for lunch which is pretty poor for a city hotel. Unfortunately not worth the money especially when the rooms were advertised as renovated. The rooms aren't sound proof either so you can hear all the young teens arriving home from clubbing and carrying on in the hallways. The worst thing as a family of young children staying for a celebration of a birthday was to find out that young teens were given the renovated rooms but are out all night and a family (who spend more time in the room) are given the poorly maintained rooms. Disappointed and will tell everyone about it!

New bathroom renovations are nice. Much better than the old mouldy smelly walls.

I was told I would be refunded for 1 of 2 nights stay. Yet got charged 6 days later for both nights. When calling Reception, I just get told "manager will call you back"......still waiting. I've been staying here for work purposes for almost a year. Never again unfortunately. So much potential, so little f**** given from management and staff

On arrival I asked how do I access the car parking and was extremely disappointed that I had to pay $20.00 a night for parking. We were very lucky that we only needed to use the car parking for 1 night only. This cost factor should have been advised to us when we made our booking. No face washers were available in the room and house keeping when we asked for them said, we don’t supply them. No views from our room only the view of the private car park below.
