Excellent Hotel with perfect Location

amazing breakfast with very nice staff. perfect location, easy to reach from the shuttle bus to the parking lot. great design everywhere. close to all restaurants, beach etc.

it wasn’t so much of a problem for us, but the rooms towards the square are quite noisy at night. we slept with earplugs and it was totally fine. bathroom and shower are a bit too small - led to some mini flooding. unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed when we were there.

Location is perfect and the staff was very helpful.

The location. It was wonderful that we could walk out and be right in the square, in the middle of everything.

The WiFi was not available in our room which was disappointing. We weren’t able to reach WiFi unless we were in the hall or lobby.

Location was outstanding. Can’t get any better than saying in the square. You have to park your car before entering the city, so you may as well pick a central location to stay. The hotel communication prior to our arrival was through and most appreciated. Check in was friendly. We were told that on weekends we may hear music (appreciated the warning) but it was never an issue. Music was not loud at all. Room was clean and had all that we needed. And breakfast was one of the best we encountered on our trip. Quality and abundance along with dining location cannot be beat. Close to places to swim too.

The hotel is brilliantly located on the main square of Piran, but also very close to the waterfront. Our room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. But the best part was the little balcony, with its view over the marina and the Adriatic, where we sat with a drink in the evenings. Breakfast, which was included in our rate, was also very good.

The renovations and updates in the past 1-2 years have had a positive impact, although they were mainly cost-effective or cosmetic in nature. The basic structure and plumbing remain unchanged, so there are occasional remnants from the 90s that still light up the place. The standard rooms, as seen in the picture, appear quite small and I believe they are not suitable for stays longer than 2 nights. However, overall, the design is acceptable, and it's evident that they invested in the bed because the mattress is very comfortable, and the bedding is of good quality. Despite what was described, there is a certain radiance to the whole place that makes it friendly. The staff was consistently super kind, and the champagne breakfast was decent, although it could perhaps be more varied.

The biggest downside is that the accommodation is very noisy. The staff informed me in advance that there would be events on the weekends, which can be heard in the rooms as well. It's a shame that the message came after the cancellation period for the booking had expired. ;) On weekdays, the surroundings were also noisy, but that wasn't the main issue. Due to the old structure, I believe there is essentially zero soundproofing in the rooms. At night, we could hear the neighbor in the adjacent room arriving after midnight, every step echoing from the hallway, and even door slamming from the lower floors. Then we had to listen to our neighboring room's occupant taking a shower, brushing their teeth, and we could even hear their snoring. The decades-old air conditioning system is also very noisy. Even when it was turned off, there were occasional sounds as if someone had started a Nespresso coffee machine. If they could improve the soundproofing in the rooms, I would recommend this accommodation, but as it is now, if someone is looking to relax, it might not be worth choosing this place.

A few holes in the walls of our room which was a shame for such a lovely (and quite expensive hotel). Charging 1 euro for coffee (apart from filter coffee) at breakfast seems odd when so much has been paid for the room

I don't understand why you charge €1 for a coffee at breakfast. And it's not possible to add it to the hotel bill, so if you don't have cash, you have to go back to the room to get it.

The location on the main piazza is excellent, good bed and bathroom. Good breakfast! Parking and bus outside the car-free centre worked well.

The bed was very comfortable, location is in the heart of Piran.

Noisy! Inadequate sound proofing internally and externally. First floor city view rooms have speakers from a bar directly underneath them, at the weekend music plays from 8am to 12am. Reception staff did nothing to address this or offer compensation as we werent informed of this.

The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. Our room had a window looking out onto the bustling main square, but the soundproofing of the windows is very good. The room size is perfect, the bed size and quality is quite excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and they even offered sparkling wine.

A stunning view over the harbour, a great rooftop for a drink as the sun set, a 360 view over the city, a scrumptious breakfast. A recommended spot in the heart of the city !

Screens could be added to shield from the neighbours balconies… Noise insultation from the other rooms/corridor could be enhanced. No lift to the very last floor.

The location on Tartini Sq was wonderful. We had a view of the square and of the church of St George, which were lit at night, from our room. We were there on a Thursday night in May and there was no problem with loud noise or music coming from the square. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast was very accommodating. The advance directions for finding the parking garage were exact and very Exhelpful.

Lovely and extremely helpful staff; dogs are really welcome; very clean, really nice atmosphere and big, comfortable rooms (we had 3 types, all of them were great). Breakfast is rich and the food is delicious, highly recommend the restaurant for dinner as well, the menu is so good whatever is chosen and the managers of the restaurant are very friendly, they cater to all needs, whether it’s a child or a pet.
