The location was excellent and the property was very well suited for our group. We couldn't have been happier with the house, and the area was very convenient to the Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails. We would happily stay here again.

We rented this beautiful home for a 70th birthday party for a twin sister and brother. 8 people stayed for the long weekend and 5 more joined for lunch to celebrate. Everything was perfect! The layout is such that everyone could find a place to sit and chat, share a glass of wine, or enjoy the beautiful lake view from the porch. The house is very convenient to so many interesting places to visit that are within 10-20 minutes. That, of course is only if you can tear yourselves away from the house!! Beds are comfy, furniture is too…. Bathrooms are spacious… it was just Spectacular. Thanks so much for letting us rent it! We’ll be back!

Our group celebrated two 30th Anniversaries in this home as part of our fall adventure around the Finger Lakes. The home is well stocked with household items. Nice views of the sunrise.

Great house! 5 beds plenty of Space for teenagers. We had a great time celebrating my husbands 53rd birthday. Went to the park down the road to out in our kayaks twice. Rented a pontoon boat in Seneca Lake for the day-20 minutes away. And did a lot of reading and relaxing on the front porch. Kitchen was well stocked and we used the puzzles they had. Never turned in the TV. It was a great long weekend stay. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home!

The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The front porch was an awesome area, comfortable …we played guitars one evening on the porch, went boating, visited wineries, saw dozens of waterfalls, hiked…was just what we were looking for in a summer vacation!!

This was perfect for our family summer week together (5 adults and 3 children). The house was very comfortable and roomy for everyone. The location was central to our activities, which included wine and cheese tastings, the Sciencenter in Ithaca (excellent for kids!), a boat tour, bird watching, waterfalls, great food and drink, and the beach and playground just a half mile down the road.

WOW! Just - WOW! This home and location were fantastic! We were more than surprised by the size of this home (the pictures simply do not do it justice). This home and property were very well maintained. It had everything that you needed for a week’s stay. The bedrooms were much bigger than we thought, the living room was huge, the dining room was just as impressive, and the butler’s pantry & kitchen were perfect. There was plenty of room for 10 adults. The best feature of this home was the massive front porch. For our group, we spent a lot of the time , when we were home, on the front porch which had a beautiful view of Lake Cayuga. The location was perfect and getting to and from the home after visiting a winery (there were A LOT), a restaurant, or a hike was easy. We weren’t staying in a house but rather a home. It was very inviting and had a familiar feeling. I had a chance to talk to both Susie and Steve and they were really friendly, nice, and gracious. If you want THE PERFECT home to stay in while visiting the Finger Lakes area, do yourself a favor and book this home. Our group cannot wait to go back again!

The house was beautiful and perfect for our needs. Our daughter graduated from Wells College that weekend. We were able to host a small luncheon after the graduation ceremony. The proximity of the house to the college, stores, wine/cheese venues, the lake, diners and eateries was perfect! Beds were very comfortable! Coffee bar was perfect and so was sitting on the front porch with my coffee, watching the sunrise! I would definitely stay again!!

Six friends stayed at this beautiful home for a long weekend to see the area and go on a wine tour. The house was more than I expected, large, very clean, easy access and good communication with the owner. We look forward to returning to the Finger Lakes soon and will defimitely consider staying here again!

This is a trip that five girls have done every fall for the past 17 years, going to a different location every year. Our trip to Seneca Falls was wonderful and provided us with lovely memories to enjoy for many years to come. The house is exactly as listed, very spacious and relaxing. Susie & Steve were more than accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this listing 💞

The location of the property was perfect; We had beautiful views of Lake Cayuga, and the most peaceful mornings on the porch to start the days. There was plenty of room to accommodate out party of 10, and everyone had the best time. Can’t wait to visit this property again!

Had an amazing experience renting this property. The home is beautiful and grand with an excellent view of the lake. A perfect place to stay while away from home. The owner was great at communicating with me and provided every detail needed to enjoy our stay. Can't wait to plan another trip to the finger lakes.

This was a great property for a weekend getaway. The house is massive and is a great deal for the price. All of the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The porch was our favorite part. We could sit on the porch swing or rocking chairs and watch the sunrise.

We had such a nice time with the whole family! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We spent a lot of time on the porch looming at the lake. Proximity to other activities also key - wineries, breweries, spa day at the casino etc. thank you Susie for sharing your home!

We enjoyed the area. House furniture in the living room consists of an old worn out sectional sofa. With 5 bedrooms we had 7 adults and two young children. The living room is large enough for furniture, but only had a sectional sofa. All found the sagging section uncomfortable to sit on for long. Chairs in dining room are also in very poor condition along with dining room table. Same problem with spending time together, chairs and bench too hard and worn out to stay seated in for any length of time. The glass cabinet in the dining room has heavy items on top. A large candle opera, metal art on top of cabinet and 3 canisters of marbles inside on the top shelf This made it unstable and dangerous for our 4 and 1 1/2 year olds. We moved it into another area and turned it around to protect them from the glass and tipsy cabinet. Wiped a spill off the dining room floor and the towel was black with filth. Air conditioners in windows did not keep the house comfortable and if you are not used to window units the are very loud compared to whole house air conditioning. In the home owner’s manual it describes a sticking door to the laundry room the keeps mice out. How about just fixing the door and mice issue? Also peeling paint (lead?) on the laundry door and on the front porch. A loose board with nails sticking out of it above your head on the front porch pillar. Bench in side room entrance where you put your shoes would tip over if you sat near either end. As this is our first experience with VRBO it will likely be our last. Properties in this poor condition apparently are not regulated. Overpriced for condition of furniture. We would share pictures if there was a way to upload.
