This property was awful, filthy dirty! Nasty everywhere you looked! Oven was filthy, dryer was broke, leak under the sink with a bowl under it, one fork in the drawer, none of the TVs worked, we found the remote to the TV in the bedroom behind the night stand with candy papers & pills, it had not been cleaned at all!This property should not be listed on VRBO if these are your standards I will never rent again!!!!!!

The indoor pool was down while we were there and the outdoor had problems as well.The b3ach on the other hand was great, but on my forst day of vacation I didn't want to spend it cleaning the condo up, specially when you pay a cleaning fee. Also the dryer never dried clothes, we would have to run the dryer several times for it to finally dry the clothes.

Disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. The sink and toilet had mildew. I swept the floor of sand. Found candy wrappers on couch and a shoe and sock under the bed. I felt like I left it in better shape than I found it. Sorry

Whole place was filthy. Overall condition of property was poor. Obvious water damage throughout and ceiling fan in maser bedroom was rusted and about to fall from the ceiling. Internet required PW which was not shared. Couldn’t get TVs to work. Someone else’s dirty clothes and hat left under the bed. Don’t stay there! I was very disappointed! Owner has not kept it up. Recently updated means new bedspreads from Walmart.

Condo was filthy. Dirty rags left in kitchen drawers, bathrooms gross, floors not mopped. Clothing tags and dirty blankets left in closet from previous renters. Location is great though.

It isn’t the quietest location because it adjoins to the FloraBama bar on the left. Our party didn’t mind this at all, but the noise from the bands do carry over to the balconies of the rooms on the same side. We noticed it the most during the day when we would sit on our balcony for lunch. Our room was unit 916. The overall furnishing and condition of the room were only acceptable. The paint on the kitchen cabinets was severely chipped on every cabinet door, the dishwasher had a foul smell, the furnishings in the living room had seen better days, and the sliding glass doors in the living room were filthy. They had handprints and some type of yellow substance smeared all over them. The shower in the bathroom adjoining the bedroom with the king size bed was very slow to drain and when walking on the tile floors throughout the condo, your feet would get very dirty. We did have very positive aspects of our stay. One of our party is an exterminator by profession, and there were no signs of any sort of bugs. The linens on the beds and our towels were incredibly clean. The condo had a beautiful view and the deck fit the four adults in our room comfortably. Both of the pools, indoor and outdoor, were maintained nicely and had plenty of seating around them. The outdoor grills and sinks were a huge plus as our party, which was large and staying in 5 separate condos, had plenty of room to congregate and grill together for dinner one evening. The staff were always around working on keeping floors, pools, communal areas, etc clean. We were at first a little annoyed by the wrist bands which were required on property, but quickly realized they were shoes necessary to make sure that everyone using the pools and amenities was staying there. Our satisfaction with the stay as a whole was fairly high, but there were specifics that could’ve been corrected to elevate our stay and make it 5 stars.

Overall…perfect weekend getaway! overall cleanliness was something I worried about due to the reviews. At quick glance it wasn’t bad. However, the floor were very sandy and left your feet black. The convenience of being close to elevator and next to florabama were great! We have stayed at phoenix X our last 4 stays, it’s our favorite spot. We will be back.

This condo was dirty when we got there. Huge pile of dust on ceiling fans, toothpaste from previous occupants on the sink faucets and mirror, hair in second bathroom tub. Just felt gross! Was disappointed in it especially how much you pay for these places to stay.

Perfect location for teens.

Our second stay at the the Phoenix 10 was great. So convenient to the sugar sand beach, Florabama bar and dining with local flavor. We love the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Reviewer Comments: The property is fine but definitely shows signs of aging, the couch is sunken in, paint on cabinets, doors and trim are scratched up and one of the cabinet shelves look like it was about to give. We also had an issue with an unusable dining chair but that was very quickly fixed. However, everything served its purpose and I would stay there again as the view makes up for everything. The phoenix X facilities are great. We never had to wait for a hot tub as there were 3 and the heated indoor pool was almost bath water warm. The only newbie thing I didn’t realize was that to get to the indoor pool, since it is a condo, you have to go outside to get to the indoor pool which was harsh as it can get down to 40F in March but we just brought our jackets and dried off really well afterwards and it was bearable.

A relative noticed that they were extremely unstable. All but one chair was stable enough to use, so we left it against the back wall. Nothing was where the labels on cabinet stated and lots of dishes were not as clean as should have been. I spent 1-1/2 days washing the dishes and putting them where they belonged. Floor was very sandy and there was novacuum in the unit. It got cold and we tried the heat, but it smelled like it was burning, so we just left it off and opened all the drapes to let it heat naturally. Other than those things, it was a pleasant stay. Loved the location of the unit. It was close to parking and elevators.I would stay there again. My suggestion is to get in touch with your cleaning crews. I don't feel like they are on top of things.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 916 is a clean, nicely furnished condo right on the white, sandy beaches of Orange Beach, AL. The kitchen is well furnished and all the furniture was very comfortable. However, for me, there was a huge problem with this location. It is within a two minute walk from FlorBama, which is the largest beach band venue in the south. So instead of enjoying the peaceful sounds of the winds and the waves, you have music playing every night, and on Friday and Saturday night that music is very loud, and continues until 2 am. Also the voices of those who’ve had a little too much to drink carries so well that I actually thought there was a loud party being held on the balcony of the floor under me. It was an okay stay, but I won’t be coming back.

Everything was lovely - the washer/dryer needs an update but everything else was just as described. We didn't however appreciate the pot smoking we smelled every morning on the balcony.

All of the ceiling fans SUCKED and need to be replaced. Upgrade the outlets and location of them. Everyone brings their own electronics and the plugs need to be more accessible. Location is awesome. People were great we will use Phoenix condos again.

Very clean and great location

There were a few issues with the condo. 1. The TV remote did not work and only one channel could be watched on the tv. 2. 2 lights in guest bedroom did not work. 3. Drawer under oven very nasty. 4. Shower in master bath hard to regulate.

FANTASTIC

Overall a good experience. But the corner condo with an open end on a rainy week was a bummer. We couldn’t even sit on the patio when it was raining as the deck was always getting rained on too. The kitchen was not very well stocked with items for cooking. We had to wash towels every day for the 4 of us. Shower curtains were moldy. So hate to complain but we’ve stayed in so much better maintained condos!

Some paint touch ups and just overall maintance. For the price that we paid some of this should be taken care of. The view made up for it though.

The condo space, view and cleanliness were great. Please for future families:upgrade your family living area furniture. In short, chairs and sofa are beyond worn and not comfortable. The outdoor furniture need new chair cushions.
