Convenient location with a fantastic view and plenty of sunshine bathing the deck. Laundry with soap powder. Well equipped kitchen.

This is a period style cottage with matching furniture. Comfortable and clean with an efficient reverse air-con system which heated the cottage up quickly. We liked the generous supply of pillows and good bedside lighting in the main bedroom. Kitchen was 1950/60s period style but had efficient dishwasher, coffee machine etc. We enjoyed sitting at the bench looking out over the town both in the morning and the evening. Good hot water supply in bathroom for showers. Supply of pretty soaps was appreciated. Easy walking distance into town.

The cottage was a little difficult to locate on a dark, rainy night. It does sit overlooking the main access road into the port but as this is sunken, we had no real issues with this and no noise problems. Missed free-to-air TV access as we don't have streaming subscriptions. Lighting in sitting area a little bleak.

Shower Taps

Vintage cottage, complete with sloping floors. Cosy and very comfortable. Good views. Close to everything. We’ll have to come back in warmer weather to try the outside shower.

TV reception could not get my favourite sport on the TV

Clean, tidy, included extras like glad wrap and oil, salt and pepper

Drippy shower taps, had to keep turning off tightly to stop dripping. Had to leave bathroom light on to see way to toilet at night as slopping floor puts you off balance.

The property is clean and cozy. The owner is very considerate and has provided almost everything we needed during our stay, including the games to entertain the kids.

How close to everything and in walking distance for food and water front

The unavailability of LiveTV was unacceptable particularly as this a general form of entertainment for many holiday- makers , both for morning news and evening viewing. It was fortunate that our Queen's funeral was not held whilst we were at this place, after all it's hardly in the desert.

charming, wonderful decor, attention to detail, everything you need for a stay of a few days, views - while not of the sea they provided great outlook over the area and sunset

beds were too soft, would have liked face cloths in bathroom and hot pads in the kitchen
