This init is situated on a pond that provides great views and wildlife viewing. Short bike ride to the beach. It’s very clean and had great amenities. Very responsive owners. Could not have asked for better. We will be back!

We booked this villa for a week stay and could not have made a better choice! The villa was well-equipped with everything you would need and in a great location to access all Kiawah has to offer. Would 10/10 recommend and plan on returning in the future.

We have been long-time vacationers at Kiawah with our children… Now we are empty nesters and we wanted to try the island in February. We found the perfect villa! Adorable and well appointed with everything you need!! This villa is in a great location where you can sit on the porch and hear the soothing ocean waves and also enjoy the stunning lagoon views. The owner is lovely to work with and their management company handles everything efficiently.We will definitely rent this villa again… just perfect!

This home is wonderfully situated on the Kiawah resort, close to beach, the Sanctuary, bike paths, the Night Heron park and quick access to the Freshfields village. It is beautifully appointed with complete kitchen for cooking and entertaining, comfy bedding and lovely decor. Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving week and this location on the lagoon made it very special.

Loved our stay! The place is within walking distance to the beach, tennis and parks. It was super clean and warmly decorated.

This property had so much charm and comfort. We loved the location! We were an easy walking distance to the beach and Night Heron Park. We also loved overlooking the pond and watching the birds, turtles, and an occasional alligator. I would definitely come back!

We so enjoyed this property- we loved the proximity to everything and the kitchen was amazingly well stocked with all the gadgets you want. The deck over the lagoon was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Would definitely rent again!!

Had a great time. The AC was not working when we arrived - the PM had someone out the next day and was very responsive and easy to reach.

Kimberley was a wonderful host! Great location, we loved sitting outside on the deck in the mornings to see the alligators and watch all the wildlife.

The view across the lagoon was the highlight of the condo! We had visits from alligators and birds daily! A bright and clean condo!

The place is in a great location to see alligators and birds. The unit is lovely, nicely remodeled and comfortable. Love the screened in porch. A note, the unit does not come with usage of a pool.

This property is so well appointed that you will just want to move in! Everything you need for a perfectly relaxing vacation, with equally convenient access to local shopping and restaurants. It’s an easy 40- minute drive into the heart of historic Charleston so don’t miss it. That said, everything else you can possibly want is right there on the island in the cute island village. This is a truly beautiful area and the view from the two- level deck on the property is exactly the one shown online. Highly recommend this property.

The property was beautiful and clean. The pictures does it no justice. Very relaxing and within walking distance from the private beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything! I will be returning soon!

We had a fantastic week. Great location, lovely deck overlooking a lagoon, with alligators, herons and ospreys. The kitchen had everything we needed; we appreciated that two pairs of binoculars were there; and we loved using the three beach chairs and umbrella. We rented bikes which we took on the hard sands at the beach and the many bike trails. Overall just a great experience and vacation!

This Villa was everything it looked to be. When I found this listing on VRBO I was sold yet sometimes…the place looks better than it actually is but not this time. The place was beautifully decorated yet very homey. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very well done with plenty of closet space and cabinets and drawers. The views out to the lagoon are so pleasing and restful. The area where the villa is located is very nice and it is convenient to all of the island Must See’s and Do’s. The kitchen has most everything you would need and so does the laundry. We will definitely plan another visit back here! Can’t wait actually.

We are a family of runners who like to travel so when we saw the Kiawah marathon we decided to travel from Florida to check it out! The property was absolutely perfect. The distance to everything was perfect, some rented bikes and explored a bit, the ease of the shuttle for the race was phenomenal, the market nearby to supply us with delicious pizza post race was awesome, and the sunsets on our private deck were BREATHTAKING!! Kimberly was an excellent host who communicated everything from directions, to local recommendations, even made sure we were checked in properly! We’d love to come back in the warmer weather to check out the other activities! Thank you again for everything! Our family was super happy!

Travelled to Kiawah over Thanksgiving week with our family. Wonderful property - very clean & great location!

The property was very clean, appliances (looked new) worked well. The furniture and overall decor and was beautiful. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Many nice touches, such as luxurious bedding and towels, even new beach chairs and nice patio furniture. Such a beautiful villa- lots of pride of ownership. the screened in porch was delightful- even had a string of party lights! We enjoyed our stay immensely. I've stayed at a lot of villas at Kiawah, but this was by far the best stay ever. Thanks, Kimberly.

We enjoyed the loving care put into the villa. The only down is the distance to the beach. We mostly stayed in and enjoyed an in-depth visit with our family.

We’ve stayed in many Parkside Villas over the past 25+ years and this was by far the nicest, best equipped of all. The owner was a delight to deal with and very responsive to our requests. Highly recommend it!!!

Great location and beautiful home for my family fall break trip. Close to the park and extremely close to the beach access. My son loved that there was an alligator hanging out under the private dock!

It's hard to express the instant sense of peace and tranquility that washed over my husband and me as we walked into Kimberley & John's wonderful villa! We instantly felt at home, and so many times during our stay we would say to each other, "Look how beautiful this view is!!" or "Wow, I just love it here!" We actually debated whether to stay on the beach or on a lagoon (we've stayed on both in the past), but we're so happy we picked this villa on the lagoon. It is perfectly situated to take in the peace and natural beauty of the water, the foliage and the sweet foot bridge - all of which you can see from both the kitchen, the living room, the master bedroom and the spacious two-tiered deck. We saw lots of wildlife from the deck including several alligators, egrets, waterfowl and so many leaping fish.The interior of the villa is just as beautiful. It's evident as you look around that the choices of colors, textures and art pieces were all lovingly made to help create a haven for both Kimberley & John's family and as well as for all those who have a chance to visit. The beds and linens were very comfortable, the kitchen was one of the best stocked of all the rentals we've been to, and we appreciated the office space in the third bedroom which my husband was able to use for a few work-related tasks. One of our favorite activities on the island has always been exploring by bike, but this time was even more fun since we rented a tandem bike through Seaside Cycles. We also loved our meals at 48 Wine Bar & Kitchen (thank you for the suggestion, Kimberley!), Cherrywood Barbeque & Ale House, and the Ryder Cup. We hope we get the chance to stay in this wonderful villa in the future, and we highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay on Kiawah.
