Our first nights stay the bed was broken and had to sleep on couch.no apology given by the property.there was a dirty towel left on the table when we arrived again no apology.the paints falling off the ceiling in the bathroom and mould all over the silicone in the shower.no compensation given by the company or booking.com

Neat and tidy apartment, very well equipped and in a perfect location; very close to the railway station. We would definitely use again.

A couple of minor points my husband thought the bed was a bit narrow and we had to run the hot water for a while before a shower.

New construction. Well equipped kitchen. Modern bath. Comfy bed. Quiet. Super clean. 10 minute walk to historic center, 5 minutes on foot to the train station.

My wife thought the décor was sterile. No on site staff.

Modern apartment in a quiet location an easy walk from the train station and a short walk to the attractions and a lovely walk along the river. Good basic cooking facilities.

Bathroom mirror is very high, two power points for kettle, toaster & microwave a bit fiddly to swap at breakfast time. Confusing sign that is for the hot water just says it's not heating when it could say it is the hot water. The apartment is a bit too warm overnight in July weather even with the aircon turned off.

Bed was a bit too soft for my preference.

Arrived in York by train excellent location only a short 2 minute walk from train station. Instructions to locate keys and apartment were easy to follow. The apartment was excellent my husband and I stayed for just over a week. The shower was lovely we also made use of the cooker and washing machine during our stay as well as use of fridge and freezer all were fine no issues. We especially liked the fact it was gated and quite and only a 10 - 15 minute walk to all the main tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

The blinds are not fitted very well so were not very good at keeping out sunlight as a result we were waking up quite early 5 am sunrise. Which was OK we just started going to bed earlier and going out earlier.

Stairs needed a railing on both sides. Quite difficult for older people to go up and down. Bedrooms are quite bright at night. Block out blinds are needed

unable to control the heating. the apartment was 26 degrees I was so hot and unable to cool myself down. at night opening the windows was noisy and I’m a really light sleeper. at night there is a loud intermittent rumbling noise which seems to come from the apartment block difficult to identify what this is. there is no pizza cutter which would be useful or microwave. the bed is very soft and uncomfortable and I do not like the frame at the bottom of the bed, being tall trying to sleep and poke your feet out through the gaps is annoying plus the narrow room you bash your thighs on the ends every time you limbo round the edge of the bed. having a long mirror in the hall way somewhere would better than in the wardrobe. the front door rattles every-time someone comes in or out of their front door. I put a magazine in the gap which helped so maybe some form of rubber seal or stopper to pop under the door to prevent it rattling and banging.
