Quiet room and comfortable bed witb crisp clean linen. Close to local shops with free parking. Fast simple check in and out.
No food available from the pub on the day of my stay which wasn't mentioned at check in. No breakfast provided

De (2) kamers waren in de Lodge (bijgebouw) deze lag achter de 'Inn' op de hoek van een groot parkeerterrein.
De kamers waren best ruim net als de badkamer met toilet. Op de kamers stond een waterkoker met zakjes koffie, thee, melk, koekjes, en flesjes water, prima verzorgd. 's Avonds hebben we goed gegeten in de grote 'Pub' die bij het de Inn in het hoofdgebouw hoort.
De twee persoonsbedden hadden wel een maatje groter (breder en langer) gemogen. Er was daarvoor genoeg ruimte in de kamers. Ze doen geen 'ontbijt' op deze locatie maar er is wel dichtbij een eetgelegenheid. Wij hebben de volgende ochtend een 'breakfast' in de 'old city' (3 km verder) genomen, daar zijn genoeg eetgelegenheden.

Used for visiting family in Acomb so location was excellent.
Staff were very welcoming on check in and throughout our visit.
Room was very clean and had tea/ coffee making facilities, biscuits and water.
Ate at The Carlton on the first evening which was good.
Lack of coat hangers in the room. Needs updating.

The location is great the staff brilliant food good. Proper pub with Proper ales definitely stay again. Everything in room you needed.

The rooms are located at the rear of the property and away from the road so it was very quiet. Check in was easy snd organised. Nice clean room too.
