Very clean property in central location within village. The owner had left us some basic provisions including tea, coffee, milk and biscuits, which was a nice touch.

Although there is a parking space, it is very tight to manoeuvre into. Luckily I had read this in another review so opted to travel with our mini rather than our larger family car. This was a good decision, as we would have struggle to get our family car in the space. Nevertheless there seemed to be plenty of parking on the road outside, although we weren’t there in high season!!

The lovely little touch like milk in the fridge, a box of nice buscuits, tea coffee sugar. The bed settee was all made up and my son said it was the most comfortable one he has slept on. The little outdoor seating area which got early evening sun was lovely too.

Not a bad thing more for awareness was the parking was a challenge at first due to the tightness of the space but became a dab hand at reversing after a couple of times so was not a problem. There are places to park on the high street though if you’re unsure.

Everything about the property was fine. We appreciated the additional touches e.g welcome biscuits and milk in the fridge (even though we don't eat them!) It was spacious, tidy, well furnished, comfortable and clean. Couldn't wish for any improvements. The location was great for the Jubilee celebrations, being central.

We found parking in the allocated space a bit of a challenge at first, with the car's sensors on red alert. It did become easier over time as we got more familiar with it and this slight difficulty was outweighed by the big advantage of a secure parking spot off the road for the duration of our stay on a busy weekend.

Clean, comfortable accomodation with everything you need. Location was brilliant.

Car traffic noise from the main road amplified by the arch under the bedroom. Early rubbish collection was very noisy. Also check out time at 10:00 was too early considering we had to strip the linen and tidy up the house.

Fantastic stay! Great location. The property provided everything we needed and enough space for a family of four. Highly recommend, I am sure we will return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The bed was squeaky and found the mattress somewhat uncomfortable.

The location, facilities and standard of Over The Arches are excellent. Parking is tight but possible (estate car), if you are careful. With just the two of us we chose to sleep at the back of the property - greeted by sunshine every morning. Having a fully equipped 'shower room' both upstairs and down, added to the ease of living. We were able to walk into the market town of Chipping Campden and explore the locality e.g. Hidcote Manor, Erbington, Stow and areas further afield. Excellent accommodation within stunning scenery.

The array of 'cooks' knives was good but no sharpening steel! The wifi code caused issues as the 'K's' depicted were shown as capitals, where as in reality, they were lower case 'k's' - trivial I know, but irksome.

Location and the facilities

Great location. House has absolutely everything you need. Bed was comfortable. Showers are good. Very good value for money.

The bathrooms are a bit small but perfectly functional. They're not cramped.

This was a really lovely property, well maintained and in an excellent position! The host was so helpful- even found us a fan during the heatwave! Would highly recommend and will be returning!
