The size of the property was great. Great swimming pool too. Said it was heated but the pool was quite cold nonetheless it didn’t stop the kids. Hot tub was great. Bedding was clean as were the towels. Location was good and the grounds were nice too. The host was good and accommodating.

We couldn’t get the heating to turn off on the ground floor and middle floor so it felt tline a sauna. The house was very old meaning what once was beautiful furniture is now breaking a part. The floorboards were very noisy and the chairs were not safe. The door handle in the dining room kept falling off and with kids there were many hazards. The cutlery was dirty covered in chocolate when we arrived so had to a dishwasher load right away. Although overall it looked clean the windows and lights had a lot of dust and webs on them. It was still a great stay however the house needs a lot of work.

The customer experience should have been better. Microwave and toaster were dirty. The dishwasher was greasy and the filter was dirty. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes, so having to wash by hand meant two tea towels were not sufficient and nothing was done to help this situation.

Lovely old property. The swimming pool was a bonus having young children in our party. Good location.

Towels- could have been a better quality.

The house itself was incredible! The best house we have hired by far! They had even left us toiletries, loo roll, inflatable toys in the pool.

Nothing, we loved every second of our stay! Hated that we had to leave

just as advertised , plenty of rooms, comfy beds, great lounge . lovely terrace. pool was fabulous and where we spent all our time. perfect for a relaxing couple of days

what is not to like. I was worried there would not be much to do for two days. but we run out of time and didn’t even use the games room or walk to the pub.
