In my desire to be respectful and fair, I’ll attempt to give objective feedback. Our host was polite and friendly. He met us at the entrance and escorted us to our room which is his personal residence (he stays with family when renting it out) in the Doubletree Resort and Spa. We’ve stayed at another unit in the past which was more of a typical hotel/VRBO experience, checking in at front desk. This time we were listed as his personal guests and received no services from hotel. He left his keys pool/towel passes. The cash/Zelle of a cleaning fee is listed in his contract. Our parking was Zelle. Someone made an attempt of cleaning prior to our stay, but it was not deep cleaned. (Lots of dust in high places like bathroom lights, lamp shades and floor lamp by bed had dead bugs and a roach inside of it(I have photos). The outside table must have been missed as it was literally covered in pigeon poop. It took lots of paper towels and disinfectant to remove. All appliances worked with exception of hair dryer, sparks flew out when turned on and it took 20 minutes to boil pasta on the range that’s at least 30 years old. The condo photos look way nicer and do not reflect how in need the place is of a paint and deep clean. Soap dispensers filled with blue liquid that did not get soapy and one had Hand Sanitizer label which I assume was watered down and placed into other dispensers. Studio vents had dust hanging. Toilet lid missing. Purchased my own disinfectant and Lysol and cleaned.

Vrbo says "You see the total price up front". We paid the entire fee MONTHS in advance. When we arrived host said we needed to pay him personally $150 cash or Zelle. He said it stated in listing it was a "cleaning fee." Feeling somewhat trapped & not having cash or Zelle we had to figure out how to get Zelle and gave him the money. After speaking to a Vrbo agent we were told this was NOT allowed, & they would contact the host to tell him to refund the money, which of course, he did NOT. We feel scammed. Here are my complaints. Only about half the lightbulbs worked-it was so dark/gloomy & no replacement bulbs anywhere. It was clear the place had NOT been "professionally" cleaned. I could have written my name in the dust in many spots. Glass dining room table was dirty. Lots of weird personal belongings left out, like creepy stuffed toys. We were left 1 trash bag for a 5 day Thanksgiving holiday stay for 3 people. Decor was outdated and I used the word "janky" to describe the place repeatedly. Kitchenwares were ultra low quality, king bed had NO top sheet and a queen duvet that didn't fit the bed. Toiletries left in the bathroom for use were not new. Soap dispensers were empty. So many things just needed to be updated. Yes, I saw the photos before hand, but I feel they were deceiving. I have no idea how this place has ANY five star reviews. Would never stay here again and don't recommend.

The apartment was super nice with everything you need, the balcony is very big with an amazing view to the beach. The owner was super, easy to deal and talk too. Thank you for everything amd for making our stay so wonderful.

The condo was really nice and comfortable and clean. The host Marat was very friendly and helpful and met us at the door to help us get settled into the condo. It is in a good location with restaurants and groceries within walking distance. The beach is clean and right off the back of the condo. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone to stay here. We didnt have any kids with us but the condo is really cozy and the area seems pretty safe and clean.

This property had a lot of space (we used both units), beautiful balconies, and the great amenities - nice fitness center, right on the beach. Mark met us as we arrived to help park the car and show us where the unit was. We had towel cards for the pool/beach and key cards for fitness center. We were able to see Miami, relax and enjoy the beach!

Mark was an excellent host. Check-in, check-out, and communication were very easy. The apartment is in a great location, and is spacious and comfortable. Great balcony with ocean view.

Mark’s 2bd/2b condo was ideal and comfortable for our 3 generation family. The location was great, with views of the beach and ocean and lovely sounds of the surf. We spent a great deal of time on the 8th floor roomy balcony when we were not at the beach. Shopping and restaurants were nearby, parking underground the Doubletree Hotel, and heated pool with two hot tubs were fun alternatives to beach playtime. Family friendly area. Felt safe and had a very relaxing vacation. Thank you, Mark for the easy check in and out, and for the helpful resources you provided us.
