Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Right on the beach but with a pool for those rough days. Beautiful views from the patios.

This condo had a beautiful view from any room in the unit. It was large and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials - just get the groceries. The grounds were impeccably clean. The beach is even closer than it appears. Town is an easy 15 minute walk and that's a good thing because parking in town can be hard to find. The security personnel were very friendly and helpful. As was the management company.

Had a wonderful time in Playa Langosta. The condo was perfect. Clean, spacious, great location. After a few days in Arenal, we came here for some chill beach time and the condo didn’t disappoint. Communication was great each time we had a question. There was some work on the roof going on but it didn’t bother us in the least. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We took advantage of a few of the recommendations from the book provided by the owner. All of them were spot on. We would definitely come back and stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo and the owners were amazing to work with. The unit was beautiful, nothing was overlooked. Although we didn't cook it seemed to have everything you would need. The beds were the most comfortable ones we had our entire trip to Costa Rica. We chose the location because we wanted to be away from the crowds of Tamarindo, the walk into town was about 30 minutes. Depending on the tide, you can also walk into town via the beach. At night we would explore the tide pools, which was a highlight for our teens. The pool was amazing, nice to be able to look at the beach from it. Our last night we ate at Bistro Langosta, it was a little pricey but the meal was delicious and they had a band that was great. We loved our time in Langosta, for the most part because of this property. If we visit again we will definitely stay here!

What a great location with direct beech access. Pictures of the condo are spot on! Close to town (walking distance),but far enough to not be in the busy area. We had a minor issue during our stay, and the owners were prompt and courteous with a quick resolution. We could not have asked for better hosts to deal with! Amazing condo and location. Book this and you will be glad you did.

"My husband and I traveled to Costa Rica for the first time in March, and we were so pleased with our stay at this lovely condo! The unit exceeded our expectations! It has been recently renovated and was beautiful! The rooms are very large, clean with beautiful tile though out. The finishes are very nice and really comfortable. Bedding, sofa, dining chairs lighting , bar stools, recliners on the patio were all very lovely and comfortable. Also, the kitchen has excellent supplies. There are many dish and glassware options for entertaining. Nicer appliances than typical VRBOs so we really enjoyed cooking in this unit as well. The decorating was really beautiful and we especially enjoyed the art work by local artists ! Our Hosts, Kimberly and Pavel were so responsive to our initial few questions and they went "above and beyond " to make us feel welcome and at home. The view from the rooms and patio are outstanding. Pool was clean and close to unit and easy to find a chair each day. The location could not be better. Short walk to restaurants and beach in minutes. You can see sunsets from the patio and we enjoyed the stars at night as well. You can walk into into Tamarindo, but it is a bit more of a hike, but super close by car! The hosts provided a great resource document that lists all the amenities and local points of interest that were spot on! We just got back from the most wonderful stay. This unit has breathtaking ocean views as well as views of the pool. The unit has just undergone a full renovation and the owners did a great job modernizing the unit and equipping it very well for a family. I was very happy with the excellent mattresses, pillows, and linens. I slept as if I were in a five star hotel! The owners Kimberly & Pavel couldn’t have been nicer or more communicative. They sent all kinds of useful information prior to our arrival to make our trip seamless. We will definitely book this unit again!!

Really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Close enough to the activities at Tamarindo but far enough away to be away from the crowds. Would stay here again for sure.

This property was clean, exactly as detailed in the listing and a good value for the unit and location. Just steps from the ocean / beach, a 3 to 5 minute walk to several restaurants, a small grocery and 1 mile from downtown Tamarindo (also a very inexpensive Uber trip away). We found it to be the perfect location in paradise for our home base during our stay in Costa Rica.

The property was exactly as described and met or exceeded all of our expectations. Beach access was easy and close, and the pool was great. The owner (Kim) and the property manager were responsive and addressed any questions promptly. Lola at the property manager’s office was particularly helpful in our planning of excursions both through her agency’s tours and exploring on our own. The condo is within walking distance of the town of Tamarindo, but it’s a long walk, almost a mile. We walked to town several times, but you may want to consider a rental car or golf cart if you’re going to do it frequently. That said, there are several restaurants that are an easy walk, including El Sapo which was excellent and right across the street (and next door to the property manager). The beach at the condo (Playa Langosta) is not crowded most of the time and a great place to relax and watch the sunset, however if you want to swim you’ll need to take a short walk south and cross the estuary as the beach in front of the condo is rocky and less than ideal for swimming. Tamarindo beach, on the other hand, is a hub of activity with lots of great places to eat. Overall, a great place to get away from it all!

All people in the complex were very friendly Tamarindo less than a half hour walk by road or on the beach RPM, the management company very helpful with any concerns and setting up tours, Lola and Josef were outstanding Grocery store and Surf Club sports bar less than 2 blocks away You can walk to many places, felt very safe Listening to the ocean when you wake up in the morning is awesome Would highly recommend this condo, A plus

The communication was perfect! Quick to respond to all questions. Lovely stocked and comfortable. Langosta is one of our happy places in Costa Rica. We will hopefully have another chance to stay here at this property. Don't hesitate, you will be very happy you stayed here!

The property is beautiful! It's up to date, spacious, clean and well appointed. The view out the back toward the beach is memorizing! When we go back to Tamarindo, We'll be staying here again!

Lovely and quiet condo. The management company and the owners went above and beyond to be helpful. The towels, beach chairs and well stocked kitchen were appreciated. The walk into Tamarindo was a little longer than we had realized and given the heat and humidity in august we ended up driving more than we had expected. Many others were making the trip on foot but we were thankful for the car so we could maximize our beach time.

I'll start by saying we were the first guests staying here under the new owners Kimberly and Pavel but the previous owners Dave and Julie were also a big help with check in details. Our family of 4 (wife and I in our 40's and 2 teen daughters) stayed here on what was our first trip to the Tamarindo area. The condo is super easy to find and the property management company has an office about 150' from the complex so check in/out was simple. Just up the road from the office is a small market that is amazingly well stocked; we were able to get all the snacks and beverages we needed there as well as stuff for a few light meals. And speaking of that, just beyond the market is the Surf Club Bar and Grill; they had some killer ceviche! It's cliche, but honestly the photos don't do justice to the setting and how close you are to the ocean. There's nothing better than waking up and watching set after set of waves roll in. The unit is well set up, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook some meals in while we were there. We loved the master suite with both the slider that opens to the balcony and doors straight out to the ocean. The master bath features 2 sinks so you won't be fighting over space and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. The second bedroom is plenty big and features twin beds with an en-suite bathroom. The balcony is deep, which is nice when those rains of biblical proportions open up and you want to stay out and watch the lightning :-) We found that the white sand beach in Langusta isn't really swimmable due to the rocks, but just a 3 minute walk to the south and across the estuary during low tide gets you onto a beautiful beach in a National Park. The walk in to Tamarindo is easily manageable at a bit over a mile on a newly paved road (and it looks like sidewalks may be coming too?) but if you were to be spending more than a couple of days I'd suggest renting a golf cart or bicycles to get around easier. Both the new owner Kimberly and the previous owner Dave were great to work with and quick to respond to any questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if our travels take us back to the area, thank you!

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit. Wake up and see the ocean and infinity pool. Place was well organize...and very clean. A real gem. We are coming back 😁

Just as advertised. Location and price were great. Just what we needed when we needed it.

This is a perfect property for a short or long stay in Costa Rica. The condo, owner, and property Management team were fantastic. Playa Langosta is the perfect place to stay and unwind. The neighborhood is quiet with a beautiful coast to walk and explore. All of this coupled with plenty of restaurants and activities make this the “perfect” beach to stay on. This is our second trip to Langosta and we are already planning our next trip here. Love the people and the culture!

From the beginning of the process, I had a warm welcome by Dave, the property owner. He was descriptive, and excited for my family to stay in his place. All dealings were seamless and do not have words how thankful we are. The condo is a 10 by location and condition. Definitely I will refer friends or family. We had the best time and if in CR, will stay in this place again!

Minimalist interior, clean, comfortable with everything one might possibly want in a beach front home! Monkeys, iguanas, birds in the trees. Oceanfront, not just ocean close! Literally 90 seconds and your toes are in the sand with high tide licking your feet. Great pool, long enough to do laps. Management and staff do a good job. Outside of property is a little bit worn in spots (probably because of the constant salt air) but very nice. All the amenities and kitchen needs one could ask for! Owners David and Julie did a great job and made a great home for a "home-away-from-home". In the "Beverly Hills" of Costa Rica/Tamarindo area. Beautiful. Great location.

Overall, this was a wonderful property with lovely views and a great outside seating area where you really can do all your dining! The master bedroom has a Juliette balcony, too, and it's nice to be able to open those doors. We didn't cook much while we were there, but the kitchen was well-equipped, and it was also nice having beach towels available. The pool is truly lovely with amazing umbrella-like trees for shade, and you can see the waves of the ocean from half of the pool and pool deck area. Just a minor issue - the master shower looked like it could use a good scrubbing, and there was a general odor when you entered throughout the whole condo. We reported the odor to maintenance, since it seemed like maybe a septic system issue? Other than that, it was a fantastic retreat, and we would definitely return, and consider bringing our kids next time! Thank you for a lovely stay!

This is our second stay at Horizontes. The condo is well maintained. The pool is clean and beautiful. And, it is just steps to the ocean. The sights and sounds of which can be heard from the condo. It is just close enough to Tamarindo to enjoy the restaurants and shopping but far enough away to be peaceful at night. You can even get a massage under the trees out back along the beach and watch the waves come in! We would definitely come back again and stay in 204.

This condo met all are expectations. The location is perfect. Less then a 15 minute walk to the heart of Tamarindo with plenty of dining options. Away from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are pristine and the pool is wonderful.The security staff is very friendly. We arrived after 5pm and the keys were easy to obtain. The condo is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need. This is one of the rare beachfront properties. We walked the beach and swam in the ocean. Very quite and convenient. The owner is very attentive and responds quickly. The pictures are current and accurate. If you are considering a rental in Tamarindo, YOU MUST CONSIDER THIS PROPERTY. The condo was super clean and luxurious. Perfect location right on the beach and just outside Tamarindo.

Loved the location, the condo was beautiful with amazing views. It had everything we needed for our two week stay. We were able to cook a few meals and had everything we needed.

Perfect. Well equipped, beautiful condo right on a surf beach. Beach condo is directly on is a bit rocky, good tide pools for seeking creatures. Less than 1/4 mile walk down brings you to where a river lets out, which is a fabulous swimming spot (not for novice swimmers). The river and the tides make it so that you can ride the river around the sand bar - so fun (again not for novices). Less than 5 minute drive to Tamarindo for restaurants and groceries - so you're away from the hustle but close enough for access. Highly recommended.

Let me start with the good stuff. There's a lot of it. The location is great. The unit is close to the pool and you can hear and see the ocean from balcony. It's close to town for good eating, shopping, and entertainment. We felt very safe and secure here with the 24 hour guard gated parking. The overall vibe of Playa Longosta and Tamarindo is great. Very laid back surf town. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. The unit was relatively clean. (I've seen worse, but it wasn't perfect) We had a few maintenance issues, and while they were addressed by RPM, their communication about when and who would be fixing things was lacking. A few issues we experienced: - The TV remotes were a random mess of remotes. We were never able to operate one of the TVs. - There are two safes. The one in the master worked after we had to get additional instructions, as the instructions there were not accurate. The safe in the second bedroom never worked. - The coffee table leg is broken, and it made us nervous it might fall over. - There was no BBQ for the unit except a small, portable hibachi. Getting a small gas grill would be a simple expense, but a huge addition. We stayed for two weeks, and would have liked a more convenient way of cooking outdoors. - The water pressure, specifically the hot water pressure is terrible throughout the unit. Possibly changing shower heads and hot water cartridges might help, but it made for extra long showers and difficult dish-washing. - The power went out frequently. - Having a housekeeper come to the unit to clean every few days is great, but it would be helpful to know what days, and about what time she comes. There were a few times that she showed up while we didn't expect her, and that was a bit startling. Nobody at the management office could confirm any type of schedule for her until the last day we were there. - I would have felt better with some sort of interior lock option like a chain lock or something that overrides using a key from the outside. This way the management company or housekeeping can't enter the unit, surprising/ scaring us, while we are home. - Last item is that the unit apparently is for sale. We were not aware of this, and had an agent randomly come to show the unit. I turned her away. Then a few days later I was asked by the owner to coordinate a showing. Sort of inconvenient and invasive when you're trying to relax and enjoy your vacation.
