Great spot for a long weekend away. Stayed with my family, husband and children (age 2 and 5), and dogs. All the spaces in the house are well thought out. The kids loved playing with the ping pong/ air hockey table and enjoyed movie night in the theater. Location is great for exploring BV. House is very cozy and so quiet at night! Would stay here again.

We stayed here for a couple nights between Christmas and New Year. My clan commented on how fun the Saloon was. That little space is well appointed and set up for darts. The owner had a Christmas tree lit up, which was nice. We were close to walking trails along Cottonwood Creek, which we enjoyed. Beds were comfortable. Management was responsive and everything worked well in the home including a functional kitchen. Great views to the south including roaming deer in the open space.

Cheryl and her crew have really created a lovely home in which to stay with friends or a large family and their pets. The home was immaculate, extremely well stocked with beautiful furnishings! The large backyard is fully enclosed and Waterfall Saloon is too cute resist! A wonderful time was had by all!

This is the second time we stayed at this house, it is just fantastic! We love how comfortable and well equipped the house is, the firepit outside is perfect, the views are stunning, not to mention the outdoor game room and the home theater downstairs, they are so much fun! We had the most amazing time in BV and around. Thank you for everything, we will be back!

This property seems newly renovated. Everything was crisp and sharp. The actual condition was exactly per the pictures. We had fun in the evening in the unique “Saloon” out back. We threw darts and had a couple beverages out there. Indoors, downstairs there was a home theatre and a mini ping pong/air hockey table . We weren’t there long enough to enjoy that, but it was cool anyway. The only negative: we missed on the listing was that there was no A/C. In the mountains, often A/C is not needed, but in mid-July during our stay, it was hot! There were portable fans, but we really weren’t comfortable until late in the evening. The listing says “central heat”…..but it is really baseboard electric heat, so don’t let that “central” word fool you into assuming A/C. This did not ruin our stay. We just dealt with it. It was a cool place and I would stay there again.

We stayed in this fabulous home on Buena Vista, CO. The owner was very accommodating and the home was beautiful. We will definitely be staying there again, if it's available when we go back this summer. Thanks again for an awesome weekend.

Clean, organized place close to main street in buena vista. Close to 2 hot springs. Spacious house with a great theater room and ping ping/air hockey. Loved this very clean place.

This property is deceiving from the outside. Once inside you find a full basement with recreation room, theater room and four bedrooms. Very nice property would stay again without reservation.

A group of six adults and our infant grandson spent Labor Day weekend at this property. The house was very clean and well-stocked with supplies and utensils. We made good use of the home theater, the fire pit, and especially the saloon area in the back yard. The house is easy 15-minute walking distance to Main Street, with a nice trail by the nearby creek. We had a great stay and a memorable time!

The location is easy 15 minute walking distance to Main Street The house was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen items. We made use of the theater room, fire pit, and especially the great waterfall saloon. We highly recommend this rental property.

Our family met in BV for vacation. The property was absolutely perfect in every way. There was space for everyone, enough bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. The location of the property was perfect for walks to downtown and short drives to so many area attractions. The bar outside was the perfect place for games and family bonding and we now love HOOKEY!!

We recently came home from Buena Vista and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped with many amenities and lots to enjoy at the house including the theater and game room downstairs and saloon out back! The location of the house is very convenient. We walked to Brown Dog Coffee house every day and the local grocery store was a two minute drive. There was so much do minutes away! We enjoyed fishing, white water rafting at Browns, Cottonwood hot springs and walks into town. We’re from Connecticut and I couldn’t get enough of the views!

We just returned from spending 4 nights at this home and it did not disappoint. The owners have taken great care to turn what would be an average home into something great! We had so much fun with the theater room, game room and the outdoor saloon space. Everything was thoughtfully done, we didn't lack anything. We really appreciated that we could bring our dogs and the backyard was secure and safe for them. Each morning we saw deer in the open space behind the house. Parking was great. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more! The layout worked perfect for our family and the furniture was comfortable and clean. For being a home that is a bit older, they have updated it well and kept is really clean. We spent our days skiing and the location to Monarch was great. We will be back!

We stayed at this home during a family gathering. It very nicely accommodated 8 adults and 2 toddlers. Te kitchen is VERY well equipped and there were plenty of plates and glassware for everyone. There are even kid friendly plates, cups and utensils. We drove from in state and brought food for meal preparations and were delighted to find that there were also plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils of every variety. Our experience with other vacation rentals has not been as good in terms of the kitchen equipment but this one has everything you will need, and things you don't! We had checked before arriving so knew that there was a high chair and folding pack and play available which meant we could bring less toddler equipment. We found that there was a baby gate so this was a welcome find. There is seating at a table for 4 and at a buffet in the kitchen for 4 which worked out fine for us because the weather was nice enough that we could also use the table outside for some meals. Just know that if you want to seat a large group at one table, this is not an option. It was great to have 4 bedrooms for the adults, we put the older toddler's pack and play in the large laundry room, worked great as she was not disturbed and it was dark. The other bedrooms worked very nicely and with 3 baths we did not have to juggle showers much. We never ran out of hot water either. There was enough sitting area in the living room to accommodate all of us. The outdoor space worked well for the dog we had, there is no grass but the rock and mulch areas are fine. We loved having the fire pit and used it a couple nights. The saloon is very nice and while we didn't really use it much, it would be a fun party area to spill out into the back and enjoy for gatherings. There is a theatre area downstairs which we actually never used because we had other activities and spent time outside instead. The location is within walking distance to Main Street and South Main areas in Buena Vista - if you like to walk. It's not super close but there are a couple paths that can be used with access nearby that allow for safe walking (or biking if you bring them) to these areas of town. The owner was available and responsive to questions and we provided some feedback to her about a few small things, and she was open to this feedback. If you have a small or larger group, we recommend this as a place to stay in Buena Vista.

We had a wonderful and relaxed stay in this Buena Vista home. The home was clean, contemporary, comfortable and met all of our needs. We were close to restaurants, shopping and walking trails. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked if you decide to cook your own meals. The home supplied everything we needed, including a child gate to keep our little dogs from going downstairs. The views from this home are beautiful, mountains surround this small town. Our hostess Cheryl was great with communication, if I had a question or needed something she responded within minutes. I would stay in this home again. Thank you for such a wonderful mini-vacation.

We have four kids and the layout was perfect: master bedroom for the adults, one bedroom upstairs for the two younger kids, and two rooms downstairs for the teenagers. Between the game room, theater room, living room, shed-turned-into-a-bar, and backyard, there was plenty of space for us to hang out together as a family or claim a spot if we needed a moment alone to read or admire the mountain views. The house was close to downtown (a little less than a mile, which we did walk once but mostly drove to). BV did not disappoint! We did it all, incredible hikes, scenic drives, eating, and whitewater rafting! Strongly recommend this house if you are thinking of vacationing in that area.
