Met all of our expectations, in a great location!

Only here for a couple of nights and had such a busy schedule that we didn’t really get to enjoy the neighborhood - but would recommend! Great communication and appreciated the self check-in as our flight was late and it wasn’t an issue for a late night arrival.

This apartment was a great find for our family of four (kids ages 6 and 8) and is one of the best VRBOs we have encountered. It is a recently remodeled 2 bedroom/1.5 bath in a ‘happening’ part of town and was exactly as described online. It was very clean, which is really important to us. The owners obviously take great pride in their rental to include providing a lot of little touches to make the stay more like home. I agree with other reviewers that the stairs are a bit scary, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t manage. However, the bedrooms and full bathroom are upstairs. If steep stairs are an issue, this may not be the right place for you. The apartment is in a great location and within walking distance of most things you probably want to see and do. The port is an easy 15 minute stroll. If you don’t want to walk, Ubers are inexpensive. We took an Uber to the Children’s museum for $7. I highly recommend walking a few blocks to Tandem Coffee and Bakery for breakfast. The line is out the door, but so worth the wait! Lastly, it was very quiet. I was nervous because the apartment is located in a lively neighborhood with bars and restaurants, but we didn’t hear a thing and felt perfectly safe.

We had a great time staying in this apartment for our two days in Portland. The unit was very clean, tidy, and welcoming. The owner was very communicative and helpful. They even secured a pack and play for us to use for our baby, which was so nice and helpful! A few things to be aware of that are not an issue but helpful to know - The bedrooms are small and the rooms have window unit air conditioners. The stairs are very steep, so if you have large luggage, it is something to be aware of. And the designated parking spot is not right by the unit, it is under a 5 minute walk, so just takes a little extra planning. All in all we loved our stay and would recommend!

This home is at such a great location. It was so easy to walk to great restaurants, shops, and other points of interest. The building is a charming townhouse on a pretty street and the interior is well- appointed, neat and clean. All the essentials plus some extras were supplied, from coffee to personal care items. Having dedicated parking was key. We very much appreciated how responsive the hosts were. They promptly answered questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. The stairs were a bit scary, but with the light on, you'll be fine. :) Cozy spot for the three of us, well appointed and in a fantastic area. Very walkable, even down to the wharf. We are from a very non-walkable area, so it was amazing to see all the activity and places we could go just walking a bit. We enjoyed our first time in Maine, and can't wait to get back for a longer trip. Thanks to the hosts!

We were staying in town for a wedding, the unit was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and had very new amenities. The only possible negative I could think of was that the stairs were a bit steep.

We had an amazing three night stay in Portland. The condo was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Since we had two dogs, they had left dog bowls for our pups. The location is great. We were able to go out and explore the city and try out all the amazing food and drinks. I highly recommend this property.

This was my third stay with the hosts and it was amazing as always! Super clean, very good communication and loved the location of the rental. One of my favorite things is the welcome snacks & drinks that are left upon your arrival. I cannot wait to be back already!

We had a great weekend celebrating our anniversary! We loved the West End location. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. We discovered the West Promenade for walking the dog! The communication with the owner was great and they made us feel very welcomed. We, myself, my wife and our dog Finley would highly recommend this rental for a weekend visit to Portland!

We loved our stay! Being dog friendly was extremely important, they even had bowls set up for our pup! The neighborhood was great and in the best location. The unit was clean and homey, and our hosts were extremely responsive! Looking forward to another stay.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Communication with the owners was very clear and straightforward. There were no hiccups in getting setup at the residence, and we really enjoyed our stay. The home is cozier than the pictures portray, and we really appreciated a rental that had pretty nice pots and pans! Of course, the location was perfect, and we could easily walk into downtown Portland and Old Port a couple times each day! Overall, we really don't have any complaints about our stay.

This apt. is clean, cute and has everything you need. We felt right at home and were comfortable. It is convenient to the Art Museum, The Victorian Mansion and The Longfellow House. Only a short walk to shopping, dining and the wharf. Parking is close by but you don’t need a car in Portland Old City. This was a great find.

Megan and Jason's apartment was super cozy, clean and in a fun neighborhood. They are great hosts and I am grateful for finding their VRBO listing!

We loved our stay here! The location was great. It’s walkable to many shops and restaurants, and about a mile to downtown and Old Port. The place is small, but has everything you need! We stayed with our two large dogs which admittedly was a little tight, but do-able! The area felt safe and hip. But the hosts- they are awesome! Great communication- parking location changed and they were very open about it- and I had trouble with a lock one night and they answered right away! And they were so sweet and generous with little extras like champagne (we celebrated a mini-moon), local beer and a ball for the pups! We had a great experience and would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Pine street is a great location and a very well-maintained space. The unit was clean and the perfect spot for our anniversary getaway. Steps away from Hot Suppa too, which is a must try! Thank you for everything!

Great location close to all the right sights in Portland. Kitchen was well stocked and convenient. The bedroom and bath are upstairs. The bedroom was inviting, and I even found a desk to do some painting. The apartment is newly updated. It was the perfect size for the two of us.

Great location, walking distance to lots of bars & restaurants

The property is located on a quiet residential street but within easy walking distance to anything you would need. It is spotless and very well equipped. Owners have done much to make you feel at home. They go above and beyond to ensure your comfort right down to amenities you wouldn’t think are necessary but come in very handy such as writing pads , pens, Q-tips, cotton balls, coffee, shampoo, etc…. All items you don’t normally find in a rental. Very enjoyable stay in Portland

This apartment is perfectly located in central portland with multiple restaurant options and museums steps away. Want to get to the waterfront- just a nice walk with views of the bay is a fun activity.

We had the best time at Megan & Jason's apartment. The apartment is very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable for my husband, our dog and I. We loved the welcome gifts - prosecco, snacks, and a tennis ball for our dog - and a food and water bowl was provided, which was a plus. The location is great - so many restaurant options within walking distance, plenty of convenience stores in case you forgot anything or wanted to pick up some basic groceries. The biggest plus was having an assigned parking spot - all the street parking in the area have parking rules so having a parking spot was a relief to not have to move our car constantly. We had an issue checking in and both Megan and Jason were so quick to get back to us and get us into the apartment - it was an easy fix and they were so great about it it the whole time. We will definitely be staying again.

If you're visiting Portland, look no further....this is the one you want. This place is in the super charming West End neighborhood, within walking distance to the Arts District, Old Port & the beautiful Western Promenade. We even spent one afternoon slowly picking our way over to the East End Beach on foot - Portland really is very walkable. We liked this neighborhood because it's close to everything but not right in the middle of the more busy touristy areas. It's a very peaceful retreat after a great day of sightseeing. Jason & Megan have thought of everything - just bring some clothes & show up. I've stayed in several VRBO's and this was by far one of my favorites. Their place is really well stocked, clean, and they're super responsive. They were in touch before our stay, made sure we got checked in okay the day of, and sent a message at the end of our stay thanking us for choosing them, always making sure we knew they were available if we needed anything. They've even put together a very thoughtful local guide - you can tell they really love Portland and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. We definitely enjoyed ours!
