Truly enjoyed this home and view. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! We were over for a baseball tournament and looking for a place to stay so the boys could fish. Had a good time! Thanks, William!

This place was a wonderful place for our family to gather during wedding weekend for our daughter. There were several days that I stayed in the home by myself as I was planning out final details and before the rest of the family arrived. The house was clean and safe. There was wonderful patio spaces for dining and just hanging out.
Bill was so great to work with and was responsive and helpful.
Would definitely stay again!

This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed the deck and the amazing view. The sunsets are spectacular. We were visiting the area to attend our sons baseball games at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. The location was very convenient to the venue and Winter Haven. We will be looking to stay here next year!

House is very roomy and comfortable. We spent most of our time on the deck watching pelicans, ospreys and the occasional gator. Lake Alfred is convenient to many attractions and parks. The owner, Bill, was great about communicating with us. Highly recommend it.

Great weekend stay, Bill was great in communication and making sure we had all the information we needed upon check-in. Place was clean and spacious for 4 adults.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The property owner was responsive and the home was definitely family friendly. It was spacious with plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the sunset. Would book again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Bill was extremely responsive to a few questions we had and took care to give us all the details about the property and local area we needed. The house was well appointed, very clean, a great spot for a family vacation for sure and close to local restaurants and attractions (we didn't go for the attractions though).
My only "wish" if I had one would be a king sized bed! My husband and I are tall and appreciate the roominess of a larger bed. Other than that, it was a beautiful property and a great place to stay! My son, who visited one afternoon, enjoyed fishing from the dock and went around the lake with his friend on the paddleboat.
One personal highlight of my visit to the surrounding area was a wildlife reserve called Circle B Bar Reserve. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive .. wonderful place to walk and see all kinds of birds, alligators, raccoons, armadillos, etc. etc. One of the best wildlife reserves I've been to. Lot's of shady areas to walk. Don't forget to stop and get a map and bring your camera!!

Bill has a lovely house and is an excellent host. Every evening my wife and I would sit on the deck having dinner and watching the sunset over Lake Echo. It was a gorgeous event each night. An example of Bills hosting was, when I mentioned the coffee maker leaked, he immediately ordered a new one. This home is a perfect couples getaway or for a family looking to enjoy Florida's attraction like Legoland, Disney World or Busch gardens.

Lovely house with all kinds of thoughtful touches throughout the house. Very responsive to questions. All-around had a great stay. We ate every breakfast and dinner on the deck. Beautiful views all day long, but the stunning sunsets stole the show. We enjoyed all 3 decks during our stay. We went to Peppa pig theme park and Legoland. About a 20 min drive. We also took a nice stroll on the rail trail right across the street. We have small kids and the only thing I wish we had brought with us was black out curtains for nap time. We made it work, but will bring those next time. We would absolutely stay here again next time we come to town.

Very clean, very quiet with a great view of a lake. The location is very handy and off the busy highway. Enjoyed the air hockey table (we tied). Bill provided lots of information ahead of time and while we were there. The large deck had lots of options for seating and viewing. If in the area again would rent again.

This was a great house right on the water. The outside decks are huge and we spent a lot of time just sitting out there. Kids loved all the games and the sandy area. We wanted to use the paddle boat but never actually got around to it.
As the title says great place and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This was a great place. The lake side of the house was all windows so you could enjoy the sunsets and all the birds on the lake. The house was clean and well kept, the owner would contact me when he would come over to do maintained the house and I was there when the hurricane came thru. Nice place and I would stay there again, the peace and quite was great also.

Beautiful, private home with a much relaxing view of the water. Very quiet neighborhood, other than the sounds of the wildlife. :) We had the home booked for a week for a softball tournament, but unfortunately due to life happening we had to leave early and did not get to enjoy the peacefulness as much as I originally planned. Watching the storms and the sunsets from William's back porch was breathtaking. Would highly recommend and will look to stay again if the opportunity presents itself! William was very prompt in answering all of our needs and making his home very enjoyable for my daughter and I. Thanks again William!

Plenty of room for the 6 of us and could’ve accommodated a couple more on the extra pull out couch. We arrived to find snacks on the table for the kids which they enjoyed each day. Never did find the ball for the fuzeball game but there was a vast variety of games to play and the kids loved playing in the Sandy beach area. Loved that the porch had gates on each end so kids couldn’t gain access to the water from the deck. Thank you for the hospitality and extra touches, very much appreciated.

Legoland trip with great view

Very nice, large, private, back porch overlooking the lake
The host was was very attentive to all my questions. In addition to the porch, the kitchen with the large gas stove and the Weber grill were great for making meals. The master bedroom suite with a full bath and private screened in porch was especially nice too.
