The Big House
Avec ses nombreuses activités à proximité (luge, snowboard et bien plus encore), cette maison de vacances très pratique pour les familles a décidément tout pour vous plaire. Adirondack Park n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied, vous pourrez donc laisser votre voiture au parking couvert dont dispose l'hébergement ou sauter dans votre véhicule pour le trajet de 4 minutes jusqu'à Warren County Nature Trails.
Offrez-vous un pur moment de détente avec une plage nichée à deux pas de là où prendre un bain de soleil sur une serviette de plage, faites une pause bien méritée au bord d'une piscine extérieure ou sirotez un cocktail dans un jardin. Vous profiterez ainsi pleinement de cette maison de vacances qui offre une terrasse ou un patio. Une fois rentré de vos explorations, profitez des joies de l'intérieur : Wi-Fi gratuit, télévision avec chaînes par câble ou par satellite, chaîne hi-fi et lecteur DVD.

There were 10 women and plenty of room for all of us. The outside fire pit and pool were great to have and the area/neighborhood around the house was walkable. The host was amazing! She was easy to get in touch with, extremely responsive and very nice.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the Big House. The house was truly big and spacious and the pool was crystal clean.

Everything was here that we could have wanted. Lots of cooking over our weekend and the kitchen had every appliance and gadget we needed! Plenty of towels for showers, pool and beach fun! We feed 16 family members with ease. Plenty of room to enjoy large discussions or space to slip away for private time. Grilled, swam, laughed, ate, enjoyed the outdoors, walks to town, easy and quick access to all things Lake George! Thank you BIG HOUSE and host Julie.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house is spacious and clean! Everything we could ever imagine that we would need was available in the house! The living room areas are huge. There were plenty of seating on the pool deck and back lawn. I would definitely recommend this house to friends with a large family.
One recommendation would be to add a second bed to the upstairs master bedroom because it is a huge room!

The Big House in Warrensburg checked all the boxes for our annual family vacation that includes 6 adults and 4 kids ages 5 to 10. Most important box for me, it was very clean! The two families of four each had an area with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to their own and lucky grandparents (us!) had what the kids called the “grand bedroom” with bathroom. The basement area is not as pretty, but it is secluded from the rest and dark for those who like to sleep in. Our son’s family was happy there. The pictures on VRBO do not give the kitchen/dining/living room areas justice. They are more open than I expected and worked well for all of us. We can’t say enough about what the yard offered. The pool was clean. The paved area was great for bikes, balls and games, many of which were available. Both fire pit and gas grill were great. Woods are around the yard and was peaceful. Julie was very attentive. She reached out to us during a tornado warning, told us where to find candles, lanterns, etc. I would recommend this house, especially for a family with kids who love to play outdoors. We really enjoyed The Big House, inside and out!

Our group of 6 adults and 4 children had plenty of room at this comfortable vacation rental. We appreciated that each family had, pretty much, a designated area with plenty of space. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and playing basketball in the driveway area. They especially enjoyed making s'mores over the firepit. The rental was well stocked with paper supplies and kitchen needs. We did have one issue, but after reaching out to Julie, the owner, that issue was resolved very much to our satisfaction. Julie was always available, prior to our checking in, to answer my many questions in a timely fashion. She was helpful with suggestions and information. We had to cut our stay a day short due to illness, and when I reached out to let her know, she was genuinely sorry that our vacation plans had to change. Please do not hesitate to enjoy this lovely wooded retreat with family and/or friends.

The house is nice and close to the center, the only thing I would suggest is to give the house a refresh with cleaning since there were many spider webs and the bathrooms and tub were not so clean.
But if we would return, we really liked it.

Great house fully stocked. We used all the bedrooms and the beds were super comfy. My only suggestion is maybe a dehumidifier for the basement, it smelt a little musty down there, for the ones who had to sleep there. Other than that the house was great!

Amazing location in Warrensburg. Just minutes from Lake George village. The house and grounds itself is very spacious yet cozy. Lots of family friendly stuff to do! Would definitely recommend for big family getaways!

We had such a wonderful time! The house was very comfortable, clean, and homey. Very private, off a quiet road and mostly surrounded by woods. Love that wraparound porch!
Lots of seating for our big family with everything we needed. It felt like we were staying with friends. It was incredible - cleaning supplies, paper towels, a fully stocked kitchen (fantastic coffee!), and lots of extra blankets and sheets. Even some toys and board games for the kids!
A short drive (15-20) to the Lake George beaches, mini golf, and Lake George downtown. Check out the local fish hatchery - great for kids!

Rating a 5 on the entire experience. Host, went above and beyond to provide everything needed. House fully equipped and more. Spacious rooms, lovely decor and quiet property, close to anywhere u wanted to visit. Would certainly recomnend any big family (we had 12 all ages) something for all ages right on the property. Would do it again.

Our family (10 adult members) enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. The bedrooms are all private and very comfortable. Julie has the house well stocked with amenities. The location is perfect: secluded enough to enjoy the quiet of the woods yet close enough to easily visit Lake George and Saratoga. The pristine pool was a very welcome respite after a morning hike and the fire pit provided a relaxing focal point for the evening. We strongly recommend staying here.

Julie is the perfect host, she always got back to me right away. My granddaughter enjoyed the pool, we had a great time around the fire pit and the beds are comfortable. There are neighbors but the house is surrounded with trees so it was very private. We loved the porch too. We would definitely stay there again!

The house is immaculate. The bedding arrangements are convenient and comfortable. Shopping for anything is 5 minutes away. Lots of property around the house. Great front porch and backyard with a pool. Central air conditioning. There are more pantry items than I expected and a big selection of dishware and pots and pans. Nice large living room. Would definitely recommend to a family. Julie the owner is very responsive and helpful!

Our 2 day stay was wonderful and relaxing. The house was everything depicted and more! Julie was attentive to every detail and was easy to contact with all our questions. We wish we had longer to enjoy the beautiful home.

The house was all it said it was. It had everything and plus that you would need. The house was clean and had lots to do for the kids. Nust beautiful. My family and I had a great time there relaxing. The property owner was awesome to work with and very friendly and nice. I would totally stay here again and let people know about the place as well.

Absolutely fantastic experience!
The home we stayed in was more beautiful than pictures showed. Immaculate on the inside and so beautiful on the outside. Just a short trip to Lake George Village without all of the traffic snd congestion. Our host was so responsive to all of our requests and would highly recommend it. An absolutely wonderful experience!

An amazing experience
Not only was the house exactly as advertised, with more than enough space for 9 people, but the house was clean, amazingly stocked (linens, towels, spices, kitchen equipment, firepit, vinyl+SiriusXM, multiple grills, etc.), the pool was clean, and the location was simple to get to.
Add to that the way that Julie was communicative and responsive, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay near Lake George!

Great house!
We were a group of 11 and we had such a great time! The house is nice and big and has plenty of space, beds, towels/ beach towels etc. Julia is a great host and we would love to come back. Very accommodating. The house is maybe 10-15 mins from the center of town with a lot to do in the area.

Fun family trip to Lake George area
We were looking for a property close to Lake George and Julia’s home did not disappoint.
We were a group of 11 and there was plenty of room for all of us! The kitchen was well-appointed and had all we needed to cook our meals. Plenty of space for multiple people to be in there helping out. The kids had space to hang and play - the pool was great. The basketball hoop was my sons favorite spot. We also used the fire pit one night for s’mores. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone and Julia even had plenty of towels for the bath and pool.
There is a Price Chopper minutes away so easy to pick up supplies for meals. And a quick 20min ride into Lake George. 20 mins to Bolton Landing.
We had a great time and already are planning our next trip!

Wedding Weekend
Everything was clean, organized and was perfect for my family. The house was big enough to hold my family while we got ready for my wedding in town. Julie was wonderful and was always easy to get ahold of.

Above and Beyond
It wasn’t enough that the home itself was expansive and very well equipped, but the outdoors was absolutely terrific for a post-wedding brunch as well.
However, the property comes in second compared to Julie who could not, (and I write that without exaggeration) could not have been more accommodating. I won’t specify all the things she did for our party for fear everyone will expect the same.
In summary: A wonderful property and a spectacular host.

Best trip!
Easily the best rental experience I've ever had. Julie was the most accommodating owner and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. She nailed it! I stayed at the house with my two sisters and their families. We had more than enough space for all of us. This house was a great spot for us to travel to Gore and visit Lake George.

Clean, plenty of rooms to relax and enjoy the people you are with and kitchen gadgets galore! We have been renting in the ADK for well over 10 years and this is one of the best.
Tons of little personal touches that makes your stay comfortable.
