Superb location and the owners Roman and Natalia go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A fantastic balcony with a wonderful view this is definitely a great place to return to :)

I liked absolutely nothing about this place
I don't even know where to start. On our arrival, the staff wasn't aware of our booking. It took them some time to figure out what was happening. Because of that, the room we booked wasn't available, so we got a different room. we arrived around 9 PM after 150 km of cycling, so we didn't want to be fussy about it and just accept the room we were offered. By the way, the room was downgraded, but we still paid the price for the better room. But as I said, we didn't make a fuss. We were hungry, so we quickly took a shower a went to the city to eat something after a long day in the saddle.
After we returned to the room we noticed a very strong smell. We located its origin in the bathroom drainage system.
The smell was something unimaginable. We felt like we were sleeping next to the drainage tunnel.
The beds were kind of military-style with a very soft and uncomfortable mattresses. The room decor was from the early 80s and the floor felt cold as it was made of ceramic tails. We had to "sleep" with the open windows due to the enormous smell coming from the bathroom. Aircondition was not functioning. We woke up with mosquito bits the next morning. Breakfast was very basic, but that was exactly what we expected anyways after what we experienced last night. I forgot to mention, that the room was facing the very busy harbor, so if you like to sleep long, forget it. Harbor workers won't let you from the early hours!

Very good location. You can get to Lavagna's beaches (15 min walk) or to Chiavari's beaches (25 min walk). Also 2 train station available for you (Chiavary 20 min walk or Lavagna 5-7 min walk). Real old fashion hotel from movies 80th :) with friendly staff.
I am 175 sm high and a bed was a little bit short for me, but wide (real 2x bed).

It was last minute booking because our previous booking got cancelled by owner. i am thankful that this location was still available.Owners are sweethearts. very gentle and helpful. Always asking if we needed something, if they could help. Breakfast was top. 2 star hotel offers 3-4 star breakfast. Very impressed because some 3-4 star hotels in our trip didn’t offer even coffee. i wish success and many good clients to them!
if complain, then only price was bit pricy, however, it is high season and 99 % was all

No aircon. Too hot during summer despite the fan. Very limited number of electric plugs. The only ones were used for the fan or were at an inconvenient place. TV didn't work (sound but no image). Hotel service doesn't speak English. Expensive for the quality (130 euros for 1 night)

The staff is excellent.Very attentive.They constantly asked if I needed help...Roma and Natalia are super.The room is clean.The view from the balcony is excellent.The location is very convenient.Breakfast is delicious. There is a towel, there is bed linen. Gave me a beach towel.I would love to come back.

The hosts were very friendly and courteous. A family business with charm. In a quiet neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants around. Check In and Out times are discussable and even got a lift to the train station by the owner. Would definitely recommend if a couple looking for a relaxed stay nearby the beach.

We stayed for couple nights. It was like staying home or with your best friends. Family that runs hotel, made us feel like home. Special thanks to them. I will never forget it. I would for sure recommend this hotel to everyone. Very nice balconies and beautiful view to marina. Good value for money.

The family managing the place is very friendly and accommodating, even though they should leave the temporary parking place in front of the hotel available for guests. The breakfast is simple but tasty, and the terrace, even without sea view, is very pleasant.
Overall the rooms need a serious refurbishment. It is a bit like a jump to the 70s by all points of view. More of a place for students than for families.

Great value for the money in an area that is hard to book, at least on the summer months. It’s quite conveniently placed between Portofino and Cinque Terre. Amazing reception from Roman and his wife: we felt so welcomed, in such a natural and nice way. Thank you Roman for your kindness, care and professionalism. Good breakfast and great terrace to have it! Free parking on the street of the albergo + payed parking right at the end of the street (Porto di Lavagna).

No air conditioning on a warm night is difficult to handle, but we were already aware of it while booking the room and there was a proper fan in the room to help solving it.
