Clean apartment, rooms were adequate, facilities for self catering, swimming pool was great.

Internet was not working, could not use television, I understood nearby construction work affected the internet.

The host was fantastic. Nuno was kind enough to introduce restaurants and places of interest. The facility is really good for the value. Generally, we'll maintained all around. .

There was some construction work around, but that did not matter much.

Italian restaurant in village is lovely and friendly staff.

This property is next to a full blown building site, which is not mentioned in the description, despite this apartment block under construction, for over a year the building site is in operation from 8 am -6.30 pm 6 days a week. This is not reflected in the reviews which are obviously before this started as you would definately mention this. So reviews inaccurate. The noise is constant , drills , saws , grinders , 50ft crane in operation over your head , overhanging the building, which is un-nerving above you. The host Bruno. has not updated this on the description and is deceiving holiday makers who want a quiet relaxing break. He was not helpful and suggested over what’s app as did not come to the property once, it is not his fault, and I asked him to inform future guests, as he is fully aware of it, he was aggressive in his tone. I have made a formal complaint to booking.com for this to be changed and inform future guests , which I see it is booked all summer. The pictures on website avoid construction site angle as it is massively overshadowing , I feel personally deceived and mis-sold this holiday location. This holiday was completely ruined by this noise level , causing constant headache and not the peaceful location sold to us!

The casa do poco location was not too far from the city. It was a good experience to be in the country side. And great to have the swimming pool to splash in after a day out.

All was perfect.

It’s a well equipped property and the linen was very good. In fact everything in the house was well thought off and if you have a good weather outside yard and pool could be great with good weather which we had unfortunatyy not. The house has some charming features and I can imagine that people like it.

To begin with the address is not correct and we had problems finding it even when we were in front of the cottage because the number was wrong and there is no indication of the name. Then the reception by the owner, I will not say he was drunk but he had obviously a few drinks taken. I will not judge him on that when he would have taken enough time to introduce the cottage to us but he was rush rush. In a few minutes he walked through the house this is here that is there and out side to the yard to show the pool which might be nice with good weather but it was 15° so not it’s so interesting for us. The few moments that we could sit outside there was a Construction crane next door making a new apartment which give noise all the time. The cottage is also situated on a curve of a road which is used a lot. Then I mentioned to him about the barbecue which was full of water dirty and rusty but he said no problem and he kipped everything in a pot of plant next to it. Of course the weather was not his fault but being stuck inside you feel like in a prison because there are no windows so you feel locked up. We would’ve been more forgiving when his conduct at the beginning was more professional.
