Great location for where I was working also central & accessible to shops etc off street parking was good.

Lack of finishing touches, no bedside lamps or a single mirror upstairs to get ready the only mirror was on a wardrobe situated at the front door. The interior door downstairs leading to the garden was covered in a black plastic rather than a curtain or blind it didn't fit properly & looked unsightly. The same stick on plastic was fitted to the upstairs velux windows. When you are staying overnight you'd expect perhaps some teabags or coffee sachets & perhaps some milk to make a drink but nothing was supplied I had to go & purchase. There was frozen food in the freezer & rubbish on top of the wardrobe in the hall which you could see when going up & down stairs. Unfortunately compared to other apartments I've stayed in it lacked the finishing touches.

Great location to get and visit family. Nice decour and comfortable for our stay.

Very open to the side with joining property. Could do with a partition fence for extra privacy.

Check-in was very easy and clear communication from the owner. We were there on the hottest day of the year and they had kindly gone in to open the windows and turn on fans to cool it down before we arrived.

The house was nice, clean and just refurbished

The address doesn't take you to the exact house, which is annoying. Also it's a communal garden but it doesn't say it on the add. It was pretty uncomfortable because there was people in the evening in the garden next to our living room door, drinking, smoking and laughing till late. Which made the dogs nervous and bark, also the door to the garden has no cover so we were completely expose as the people on the garden could see us on our pajamas, one of them even wave at us.

Wasn't properly cleaned since previous occupants. Old coke bottles under the bed and dishes on the drainer. Only 2 small bath towels. The back yard looked like a builders yard. Access to the garden was up a steep slope with potentially dangerous drop. Only one smoke detector in the entire house.

Honestly it was really homely, really cute, everything was clean and tidy, it didn’t feel like a rented to stay place it felt perfect. 100% will be coming back

Location was near where we needed to be.

Low quality garage conversion. Felt like a place someone used themselves rather than a dedicated holiday let or rent-able family space. 6 degrees outside yet there was no heating on when we arrived. Electric panel heaters with no way to control; either on or off so either too hot or too cold. Sat with coats on for first two hours. Place smelled of sickly air freshener at first but then the stink of smoke took over as the place warmed up. Totally stunk of smoke after that regardless of windows left open etc. Horrible smell. Only one bed made up - other had wet duvet cover hanging up. Bed so close to slope you have to climb over each other to get in/out. Only a very thin sheet for bedding - no topper - felt like sleeping straight on mattress which was very cheap. Shower hadn't been cleaned - ever we suspect - other person's shampoos etc. still there and, bizarrely, no mirror in bathroom which made shaving a challenge. No toilet roll either (or holder). No instructions for tv. Took 20 minutes to get a picture out of sky box. Had to manually adjust settings every time we used it. No side tables anywhere so had to put drinks etc. on lounge and bedroom floors which hadn't been washed either. Kitchen is very basic. Nowhere near enough equipment for self catering family. Wouldn't attempt to cook a meal here. Garden was dangerous - fence panels and building materials laying everywhere plus huge trench dug out but not fenced off. Had to keep dog on lead and definitely unsafe for children. The place is the annexe to another rented property used by builders so lots of work vans/noise. The street is a single lane too and we had to reverse the entire length to allow vans through. Very busy roads locally. The host didn't contact us except to share key code after being asked for it and no welcome book. Local hotel was 40 a night, this was 80. Thought we'd splash out and spend time relaxing in a house but ended up just sleeping there.

Host was very welcoming and helpful, accommodating all our requests. Property was clean and we loved the little touches added especially toothbrushes and exfoliating gloves.. which by coincidence I had forgotten to pack. My family had a comfortable stay and although the property is a detached annexe… we had all the privacy as you would in a house or an apartment. It really made no difference to us! We enjoyed a takeaway and watching Netflix on the smart TV. This property has a lot of potential to rake in bookings… my husband took a stroll to the local shops which were all walking distance and open till late. Thank you for a brilliant stay, all the best to the host and we hope to book again in the near future.
