Es war der perfekte Urlaub. Tolle Lage, super Ausblick- sowohl aus der Panoramasuite als auch aus dem Igloo- wir haben während unseres Aufenthaltes in beiden gewohnt. Noch mehr hervorzuheben wie Lage und die Zimmer sind die Gastgeber Nina und Pasi und jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter in diesem kleinen Resort. Wirklich jeder ist so freundlich und bemüht ohne dabei auch nur im Ansatz gezwungen zu sein. Für uns war offensichtlich, dass sie alle ihren Job gerne machten und mit den verschiedensten Gästen interagieren. Das Essen war phänomenal- ich habe schon darum gebeten beim nächsten Mal einen Kochkurs machen zu dürfen.. Wir reisen gerne im die verschiedenste Ecken dieser Welt, Lappland war für uns neu- aber so schön, dass wir bereits beschlossen haben wieder das Auroa Queen Resort zu besuchen. Es ist besonders und für uns einer der schönsten Urlaube die wir je gemacht haben!

If you are looking for a hotel which offers unparalleled views, an intimate and luxurious experience, fantastic food and warm and friendly hosts, look no further. Pasi and Nina, the husband and wife team and also the hosts of the hotel, made our stay of 4d 3n go by so quickly that we would have loved to stay longer if we could. Their hospitality, generosity, warmth exceeded all our expectations. You can see their passion and dedication in every detail of this property. The hotel is in Kakslauttanen, which you can get to by bus or taxi, and you can contact the hosts for a pick up from the bus stop there if needed. They responded quickly via email after our arrival time was delayed. The room is well furnished and has a beautiful view of the sky. It has a clean and modern bathroom, hot running water, heated flooring and a coffee machine. If you are lucky, you can catch the northern lights from your room as well. You can arrange for an in-house experience (snow mobile, snow shoeing) or external safaris (husky sledding, ice karting etc.) from the hotel. We had most of our meals in the property which were finnish cuisine, prepared by the in-house chef. The food and drinks were skillfully prepared and of restaurant standard, with prices comparable to other food and beverage options in the vicinity. We would highly recommend this property for couples who are looking for a special and unique experience in Lapland 👍🏻

It was a serene, remote area. If you are comfortable with utter silence, except your own steps on the snow, away from any hustle and bustle, or busy-ness, you will enjoy being in nature there. Meals in the restaurant, though limited in selection, each were excellent, satisfying and delicious. Nina, Heidi, Pasi, and the staff, were kind, welcoming and attentive. Thank you for the lovely hospitality.

Perfect stay in AQ! People are so friendly and kind! Food in AQ restaurants is awesome too! I especially like the breakfast buffet. Wide range of choices and good taste 👅 although we couldn’t see the northern lights that night due to heavy snow, we had an enjoyable night in the beautiful igloo. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Located in the quiet forest, the igloo provides an unforgettable experience of a white Christmas. Each igloo is equipped with the facilities that ensure a comfortable stay during the winter season, with its cozy and delicate design. The owners surely have a good taste and also a good understanding of the guests, which we can read from all the details of the service, as well as the family-like atmosphere. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in Aurora Queen Resort Igloo.

We had an incredible experience staying at the Aurora Queen Resort in Finland. The ice igloos were an amazing experience, and we loved being able to see the winter scenery right from our window. The heated windows were a great touch, ensuring that we always had a clear view of the stunning surroundings. But the real highlight of our stay was the incredible staff, especially the owners. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They even gifted us a baby grow for our upcoming arrival, which was a really sweet and thoughtful gesture. Overall, we would highly recommend the Aurora Queen Resort to anyone looking for a unique and memorable winter getaway. It is located in perfectly secluded location, great chance to see the Northern Light from the comfort of your room. We only manage to stay for one night in the resort, but lucky enough to see the Northern Light. And to top it of, Nina the ownernof the resort personally pick us up from the station and take really good care of us, she even run around the resort to let the guest know that the Northern Light was up in the sky that night. Amazing experience and the location is truly beautiful. Me and my wife will definitely come back here.

This resort is a dream. Every room gives you a magical view of the winter wonderland that is instagrammable and picturesque. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful throughout our duration of our holiday. even before we arrived they made sure our activities were arranged and planned, for our stay to be stress free. when we arrived at the place, the host ran to meet us with coats to assure we were warmed up. and when the northern light came out at the resort, Nina the owner ran and knock on every igloo cabin. to make sure we dont miss the aurora.

I stayed here with my husband in February. It's a little late, but I left a review because this hotel was so good. Both the owners and the staff were so kind that I felt very good. The owner talked to all the guests with interest and gave them information and warm attention so that they could continue to have a pleasant trip. Through the conversation, I could see that the owners prepared a lot to open AQ. The facilities were also very good. The interior of both the room and the bathroom was very good. Breakfast was good, too. We would like to stay here again if we come to Finland again.

Wonderful hosts. Felt like visiting friends. Large spread of breakfast. Rooms are cute with glass more than many other igloos. Roof is high so no feeling of cramped in small tent. Saw Northern lights too. Bed and other room features are very tastefully made with a lot of attention to small details.

Control of glass defrosting not there in the room. It was embarrassing to phone and wake up hosts at 1 am to switch on defrost for the glass windows. Garden lights at night can be disturbing when looking for Northern lights.

We had the best time staying at AQ, the modern igloo rooms are such an experience having a view to watch the northern lights or snow falling. The rooms are spacious, super clean and walking distance to the reception and restaurant serving great food and buffet for breakfast (food in general wasn’t great in lapland so it was great to have a place with variety in menu and delicious meals). But the best part, was the warm welcome and hospitality of the lovely owners, it was an absolute pleasure to meet great people who made the experience perfect. From planning activities, to aurora hunting daily updates and discussing life, the service was impeccable. A must try place when you visit Lapland.

Its an spectacular experience, being in an igloo in the middle of the nature and witnessing the northern lights.

The owners made us feel really welcome and did everything in their power to offer top service. We've asked a cabin with open view to the forest and they made sure it met our expectations. They also surprised us with a gift in the room, once they knew that we were traveling for our wedding anniversary. The room and bathroom are nicely designed and very comfortable ,the whole concept of this hotel is amazing and high quality...Nina and her husband have created a hidden gem in Lapland!

The menu of the restaurant could be a bit more extensive and exciting but we understand that the hotel opened only a few months ago and this can grow over time. The breakfast buffet was very good.
