The hosts were really nice and kind and very welcoming. We felt at home straight away as the house gives warm vibes. The view from our room was amazing and was very peaceful

bed too firm for me and thin pillows, dog hairs on carpet, awkward angle of tv to bed and chair. Limited channels. did not understand gluten free.

They were very friendly, they had a really lovely cute little dog called minty that we just wanted to take home with us. The bed was very comfortable, It was lovely and quiet. They have complementary drinks in a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was lovely. Lots to choose from. We will definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff, great size room , nice little touches such as mini fridge with complimentary drinks. Breakfast was superb. Nice selection of continental food. Owner makes you feel comfortable and loves dog!

Garden needed a bit attention.

Jon and Elizabeth were absolutely lovely hosts and so very welcoming. Without being intrusive in any way, they made you feel like personal guests. Even their little dog, Minty, was adorable. The house itself is just splendid and the breakfast rivaled the best we've had anywhere. It is set in lovely quiet grounds but just 10 mins drive from three lovely seaside resorts. Jon & Elizabeth did all they could to make our stay one we'll remember.

A beautiful BnB set in a beautiful location. The rooms were very homely and comfortable, everything you would need supplied in the room and more available. The hosts John and Elizabeth went above and beyond - very friendly, welcoming, knowledgable and forthcoming. We felt like friends by the end of our stay. We also took our dogs along which was great fun with their lil pooch Minty, all running and playing together in the large garden. The breakfast provided was beautiful. The location was perfect, very close to nearby attractions and pubs. We all agree that we can’t wait to go back later this year.

The location was fine, apart from being hard to find when approaching from the Clacton direction (sign only visible from the west).

The room was dated and in want of a thorough clean. Furniture was mismatched. Carpet was dirty and there was a stain on the wall. Dust on furniture & surfaces. Shower glass needed a good clean. Impossible to sleep due to noise from another room. Breakfast was poor, considering the amount paid.
