the staff was very friendly, food and service excellent and the hotel and beach beautiful.

there was no proper ventilation in the room, the fan was not powerful enough and it was hard to sleep with the heat.

Amazing view over the Caribbean Sea, rooms are very nice, bathroom is amazing and it features hot water, a real luxury in La Guajira. The sound of the waves is really relaxing. The restaurant is nice but some things in the menu were not available, the hotel is fairly new so I'm sure it will improve.

We stayed for 2 nights and they dind't clean the room after the first night.

We absolutely loved the hotel and all of the staff! The place is clean and gorgeous, and everyone that worked there was incredibly sweet and helpful for anything we needed to make our stay comfortable and really special for my partner's birthday. They truly went above and beyond and even tracked down a pair of binoculars to purchase and wrap as a birthday gift for her that they delivered along with heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast! We definitely recommend staying here for a lux experience by the sea, and would love to return someday soon :)

The hotel, the swimming pool and location are beautiful, Carlos and Paul and the staff very friendly.

The hotel is totally overprized, certainly in high season. 120-150 euros would be the right price for what you get. Although the staff is very friendly the service is not professional and terribly slow. The food is average and on new years eve it was not good. At night it can be really noisy.

The staff did their best to manage a difficult situation

Firstly, don’t expect luxury. This is not the hotel for it. Electricity and water was intermittent in our room. When we arrived, our room was under construction so we waited a few. hours (we were notified via message prior to arriving, but didn’t realise our room wasn’t going to ready). The owner is a good person and so are his kind staff, but the hotel is twice as expensive as it should be. It would have been a wonderful experience if we had prepared ourselves to go rugged, but this listing doesn’t give that impression.

Wow! What an incredible place! A stunning location. A beautiful design uding kocal materials that is totally sympathetic to its surroundings. The staff were wonderful willing to do anything to make ny stay the best possible. They reallymade us feel and home. The outdoor showers and private plunge pool were incredible. Without a shadow of a doubt the best food I have tasted in years of being in Colombia. Exquisite sauces and attention to detail. The hotel made a very special ocassion for us unforgettable. Thank you

It was all perfect

Everything about my stay at RCH was just wonderful. The management arranged my transport, welcomed me with the biggest smile and a drink. The design of the hotel is exceptionally beautiful and stylish. It has amazing views. The surroundings are calm and ideal to connect with nature. The breeze of the ocean cools down the rooms at night. The hotels location right on the beach, with a beautiful infinity pool, is just perfect for a relaxing holiday. The full team spoiled me with delicious food and drinks and most importantly big smiles and kindness. I can not recommend this wonderful place enough, one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I will definitely return.

Everything is perfect to relax and enjoy this beautiful place! The room is big and confortable, you can enjoy the sound of the ocean and the shower in the sun! i recommande the suite number 2 which have a private pool and terrasse: really exceptionnel ! the common area with the pool, bar and restaurant is super nice for chilling and the view is spectacular! The food is great! very varied and fresh dishes. The staff is nice and helpful. Sadly my Spanish is bad so it was not so easy to communicate but Carlos speak English and he will help you with anything you need. We had the best time there!

Need a good mosquito repellent ! but really nothing to complain about the hotel.

Somewhat overpriced as they market themselves as a luxury hotel. I would say it is bohemian style hotel. I wish them the best as the manager Laura and her staff with one of the owner(s) are doing their best in running this gem of a place.

this place is an absolute paradise, the staff is so lovely, the food is just exceptional .. it's perfect to disconnect from the city, take a break and take time for yourself. He has just opened so, there are still some details to develop but I highly recommend and I can’t wait to come back when I return to Colombia

The staff is lovely, Alejandro one of the nicest hotel staff members i've met, super available, and genuinly helpfull, always smiling. A great guy! The hotel is new, so we stayed there alone, which was great. It has a great location by the beach, and an amazing pool... its very beautifully decorated and the amenities are lovely. They even upgraded us to a better room because the toilet in ours was not working well. Breakfast was very good.

I found that for Colombia standards the prices were way to high for the kind of hotel it is, and for a suposed "luxury" hotel, it lacks in important details ... The room with "mountain view" is actually a room with an ugly view of the street, and our experience would have been not good have we stayed in that room. Luckily they upgraded us. It was awfully windy - which is obviusly nobody's fault - but the isolation is very bad, so the wind would just fly everything inside our room, and the doors of the room were loose, banging, which made it noisy at nigh. Also we asked for our clothes to be washed, it would have been nice for it to come in a basket, nicely folded, instead, we payed 70.000COP for it to be delivered in a plastic bag a bit messed up. Not "luxury" material. And the restaurant could improve their dishes. However if these details are improved I believe this could be an excelent Hotel for a romantic stay by the beach.

Because it is a smaller Villa style Hotel and Pool, it’s a lot like a more private resort for people who don’t like to be on busy resorts. The service is personalized, and the locals in the area are accommodating to those who come to visit.

I don’t have anything bad to say about the resort, I did suggest that as they consider expanding they look at providing an “entertainment space” for the guests. in terms of a place to get out of the sun and watch the game (if a group was to go together) and or just a lounge space with some amenities to entrain the guest if they don’t want to go to the small villages near by.

The landscape is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing!
