We were able to see deer in the yard, close to all activities we were interested in. As well as great places to eat.spacious rooms.

Guest that stayed in lower room did complain of seeing spiders.really didn't like location of washer and dryer..kind of a steep walk to fire pit area. No extra towels in kitchen

We enjoyed the quiet nights (even though there were close houses) sitting around the firepit. We used the hot tub and pool table, watched movies at night, and had family game nights at the large kitchen table. The house was up a hill but close to Boone's main street, so there were a lot of restaurant options and shopping for whatever we needed.

I'm not used to driving on steep mountain roads, so the first few times up and down were a bit scary. However, by the end of the trip I was used to them, and actually started enjoying driving on them. It was easier to pull off of the driveway with a passenger seat spotter due to the road's curve, but really not an issue.

The hot tub was very nice!

Good location, convenient to everything. Comfy beds, pool table, hot tub.

Check in started off a little shaky. Check in time was 4pm. We arrived at 515pm and the person cleaning did not get finished cleaning until 645pm. Towels were still in the dryer, trash cans in the garage were full from previous guests, and lots of grease from the grill on the back deck. In fairness the lady cleaning asked if we planned to use the grill she would clean up the grease and get the towels from the dryer, but we weren’t going to use the grill and were frankly just ready for her to be done. Not sure it’s really her fault though, she had no one there helping her and it’s a 4 BR/3 BA house, so it’s a lot of work. Would definitely get her some help to make sure it is ready for guests to check in on time. Property Management extended our check out time from 10am to 2pm so it was nice to not have to rush on check out day. All in all, they made it right as far as I’m concerned. But it was somewhat awkward being there with the person still cleaning.

Nice view, location up winding road is fine in summer, lots of seating, hot tub, pool table, easy to use access code to get inside. Lots of seating on front porch although one chair is broken. Parking is OK in summer, you just have to juggle around between the upper and lower spots, and it did help that we could put a couple of cars in the lower garage.

Other than plates and silverware, of which there were plenty, there was practically nothing to cook with at all! No baking ware or skillets or large bowls for mixing or serving at all, and not a lot of utensils or good knives. Luckily I know to always bring 1/3 of my kitchen with me whenever I rent a place that I want to cook in, but really, this was the worst I have ever seen, particularly for a place that sleeps 8-10! Also, if you can't find most of your towels, look in the drier. Downstairs bathroom isn't great. Toilet extremely low and water in shower very hard to adjust plus looks like it will pull out of wall shortly. Needs more blankets.

The pillows and not enough towels and no bath mats in some of the bathrooms
