Beautiful location, nice and quiet but close to York. The welcome hamper was a treat.

The 2nd bedroom was a little cramped, I kept banging my toes trying to walk around the bed base.

Towels left from the previous guest hung up behind the bedroom door, didn’t effect the stay

conveniently located, nearby Park and Ride. Set in a lovely location. perfect for our needs.

Bath had no grab rail to get in and out, no anti slip mat.Shower was very difficult to turn off and water scalding hot. Second bedroom door did not close, latch to,open the window did not work Andy would not stay open, it was very hot at night. Bathroom and cloakroom doors squeaked and could not be locked.Scissors in the kitchen equipment would have been useful., otherwise well equipped and clean. The entry hall was lovely but lacked privacy especially at night. Outside picnic table in the small courtyard was very dirty and unusable.

The beds were very comfortable. Quiet relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Cottage had everything we needed. Would stay again.

The walled tiles in the bathroom could do with a deep clean in parts. The shower was too hot didn't seem to be a way to turn it cooler. Would have preferred garden chairs rather than a garden bench to sit on as prefer a back rest.

Quality of furnishings, good location, comfortable beds, large kitchen, and free onsite parking!

The smell from the septic tank (particularly downstairs), the large floor-to-ceiling windows were beautiful but lacked privacy, the communal shampoo/conditioner which were terrible and covered in other guests' hair!!

Main door was clear glass there was evidence of a curtain track but obviously no curtain there was a bit of a privacy issue

No curtains for the front door, no privacy at all. feel exposed an unsafe particularly at the night time because everybody can see into the house! I would urge the owner to install curtains or simply net curtains.

we were delighted with the setting, the excellent facilities and comfort. everything we needed was there and the welcome pack was a nice touch. would definitely return
