Ronald, the maid and his wife are exceptional people. I arrived knowing a handful of Spanish and due to Ronald's willingness to assist me in expanding my vocabulary I left with far more than I arrived. Ronald and his wife taught me so much about the culture and how this area of Costa Rica has changed over the years. The garden is breathtaking in person. As someone that adores plants I marveled over the beauty of the plants.

The host was super nice and very helpful. The beds were made nicely, towels and toiletries were provided. He showed us the property himself and made sure we liked the beds, the ambience and ask us for our choice of breakfast also. He gave his full attention to detail our queries as much as possible. We had car and he made sure we park car inside the house, which felt safe. It appears to be room designed for the students but we completely enjoyed working on the table and chair. The internet was good in the first floor but excellent in all the other areas of house. The bathroom is shared with other roommates, but there was no one when we went there, so it was like living in a house by us. The bathroom was equipped with good quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The host speaks only in Spanish, my daughter had a great time having conversation with him as she was the only one who can have conversation with him and she would translate for us. He recommended a very good restaurant nearby- the best Peruvian restaurant I have ever been to. As you reach near the house it doesn't appear to be the guest house, it appears to be the personal house, it's right by the school, can't miss the location. There's a nice cozy backyard with a lemon tree and a brick style barbeque place. A fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook. We were just there for a night before our next morning flight, wish we could have stayed more. Everything is in and around 20 miles. There is a work station on the first floor which was a show stealer for me and my husband, as we plan to go back in December with family again.

There was nothing that I didn't like about this place. With the price I paid it was an excellent and exceptional beautiful stay. I have nothing bad to say about this.
