The room does not have the view that is on the photo on the website, it is misleading…I booked a room based on the photo and they gave me other one. Breakfast doesn't respect the schedule, on the first day they asked us to leave because they had to set the tables for lunch... and we hadn't finished breakfast yet... on the second day they changed the breakfast time without prior notice and were rude, they put us with other people at the bar because they were already setting up the tables for brunch, absurd. We were there to relax and have good moments because was New Years Eve and it was a real stress. The roof top staff was a little arrogant. At the end of the stay they charged me twice for the role stay and it was very unpleasant having to wait for the money to be returned.

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming - the hospitality and service was amazing and we couldn’t believe how consistently this was demonstrated in all staff. Spa was beautiful and the room wonderful.

We had an amazing stay at the Edition. We were celebrating our recent marraige and my husbands 50th birthday. They gave us complimentary Champagne which was a lovely bonus and also organised all our excursions for us. Highly recommend staying at the Edition Reykjavik.

The Loft Room is simplistic with full window occupying one whole side, a novel idea had it not been located directly opposite another building (less than 50 meters away).

Door knob on floor of bathroom. Heard other guests having lack of water pressure and heat. Website and room TV states spa is included but spa said they changed and wanted to charge for that. Attendant was very professional about it and waived the fee. He shouldn’t have been put in that position. False advertising. But he handled it beautifully.

The room with terrace had great views, attention to detail with finishes were second to none. Very upmarket experience and what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The breakfast had a large spread that would be suited for any one. The lobby bar had a great relaxing atmosphere.

We booked the rooftop bar weeks in advance. When we got to check in and confirmed, they weren’t aware of our reservation and quoted a private event had superseded our reservation and others. We were offered free drinks, a bottle of fizz and a slice of cake as a goodwill which made up for it but I would rather someone told me in advance so we could have made alternative plans.

The breakfast was phenomenal! We aren't normally breakfast people and we were up every morning for the buffet! They did a wonderful job and it was well stocked with delicious items. The room was small, but the beds were very comfortable. We had 4 in our double queen room. It would have been fine for 2 people. Bathroom was a good size and the shower amenities were very nice.

Construction was right outside, but even that wasn't too loud. We were on the second floor and it was literally right outside our window and wasn't an issue. We weren't sleeping late either, but wasn't a problem. We even napped one day. Perfect location to get around downtown. Just outside the hustle and bustle so quiet and yet accessible to it all.

Customer Service (especially Samantha in Info desk) was excellent! She managed booking for Blue lagoon visit and also gave valuable proposals for dinner place. 10/10 points for her:)

Although I mentioned already in booking phase that this will be our honeymoon journey and it would be so nice to have it somehow recognized also by hotel personnel, there was nothing! That was a bit shame.
