A lovely flat, with great facilities and views. Situated in the heart of Swanage right by the water. If free parking isn’t a must and potential noise not an issue it’s hard to beat.
To say that free parking is possible is incorrect. There is parking outside for about 8 cars but in the three days we were there none of the cars moved and three spaces were taken by a van parked horizontally across the spaces which never moved. It would be a miracle to get a space as there are 20 flats. All the surrounding streets are double yellow lines so also not an option as claimed. The country park around the corner has plenty of parking but cost £25 for three days. This was fine. Think the parking situation needs to be more honestly reflected. Bar directly underneath played loud music until 2.30am on one night which kept my partner awake.

Great location with everything we needed for a short break .
We Could not work out where we was supposed to dispose of the bin bag, which we was asked to do in the instructions left in the room . I went to the part of the building where it stated ,but I couldn’t find where to dispose of it , so ended up taking it with us .

Our stay at Little Gem was perfect. Everything you could need was in the property.
We stayed for our anniversary and Denise could not have made us feel more special.
A card and a lovely bottle of Rose wine, what a thoughtful touch.
Brilliantly located for exploring Swanage's many Pubs and shops.
Lovely view of the harbour from the rooms.
We would certainly recommend this property to our friends and family.

It is charming in its decor and it very well provided in terms of plates / linen / appliances / TV / books / games etc.

A very comfortable bed and good apartment lay out. All needs were catered for and well stocked with crockery, cutlery and condiments. The position of the flat was excellent and close to all amenities. The sea view was lovely and views of the bay and cliffs was great.
Bathroom layout not that good, tiny sink and shower very difficult to get off scalding hot. The fridge freezer was also extremely noisy and could do with replacing. The stairs in were also very steep and long.

The location and views are idyllic.
The apartment is very comfortable to use as a base.
The parking situation is very poor, with most of the allocated residents parking taken up by the locals !
The term free toiletries, should be replaced by hand soap/cream only, as there were no shower/bath toiletries.
The door lock does not lock securely as the latch mechanism is broken.
The double socket in the lounge is broken.
The tv is a wonder in that there appears to be no terrestrial channels available ? Only catch up tv and films that have to be paid for ?
It would have been a nice touch if there had been a few simple satchels of tea/coffee/milk to start with ?
It is expensive for what it is, saving grace is the location……………….

Location directly across the road from the sea was perfect. Kitchen was very well equipped, bed very comfortable.
TV was insanely complicated to use other than for watching Netflix or iPlayer. If it did support live television channels we never found out how! Not really a problem because we set out to use it as little as possible, and read books instead.
The main issue was the residents' parking spaces. Being available on a first come, first serve basis between the other residents would be fine, but since there is no requirement to display a resident's parking permit, it means they are just used as free parking spaces by the general public. Given the prime location, this means that they are all permanently occupied.

great location, well presented, nice apartment, great views.
a lot of noise from pubs and clubs, windows could do with being replaced to make them more sound proof. apartment very warm when windows are closed. I think a mention of this ahead of arrival would have been nice. it was also VERY expensive, but comparable to the area.

Very clean, great central location with really cheap parking nearby.
I don’t think it would be ideal in the summer as it’s directly above a bar which even in February kept us awake. Not a huge issue but could be for some.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. Almost felt like home.
Only the sofa bed, but really wasn’t too much of an issue!
