Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden 😍 We really enjoyed our stay

Gorgeous cottage with beautiful touches, a wonderful garden and in a fantastic location. Barb and Ian were friendly and helpful. The kids loved their loft bedroom!

Remote but beautiful. Simple little house which was very comfortable.

Water pressure could have been better but tank water limited this. Lounge could have been more comfortable.

Settlers Cottage is charming, with a comfy bed and a beautiful small garden to sit in and enjoy the wee birds come and go. The cottage is centrally located on the Otago Penninsular near the Albatross Centre, Penguin Place and the Monarch Cruise, all wonderful to go and see. The scenery on the Peninsular is just beautiful. We loved our stay here and thankyou to Barbara and Ian for the extras, veggies from the garden and fresh eggs. Beautiful and peaceful place. It is a perfect location for the exploration of the peninsula. The staff is very helpful.

Great location to access main tourist spots. Tidy and clean, beautiful in and out.

I think perhaps as food outlets not plentiful leave some cooking oil, milk and butter. The produce you do sell make apparent what you can buy as you state seasonal produce outside cottage for sale. An idea. Shop in town ok and if about in weekend more things open. Portabello I think Covid and seasonally effected community

Location , the cottage itself .... The garden .

No breakfast, nice cottage but I feel that charging extra for soap and asking us to vacuum after one nights stay was a bit strange . Also we booked and paid well in advance only to be told on arrival that one nights stay was not really an option .......but the host allowed us to stay..... Again I find that strange . Anyway the place was nice with a nice garden too Linen and bedding had a "stale" odour ..... Not dirty but I felt uncomfortable do we slept in our sleeping bags .

Wonderful location, the garden especially was a delight and the heritage cottage was snug and private. Had the feel of a property which was loved- you could tell the hosts took a personal interest and pride in it. Kitchenette was well set up.

Shower pressure was quite low so as to save rainwater. I thought this was reasonable for the price but could be chilly in winter!
