Staff wes very professional, helpful and friendly. Cleanliness of the room was very impressive.

Steps to second floor was a bit steep, I find it slightly difficult to climb, Dominic was very helpful he helped us carry our small hold bags.

It is a truly remarkable little find, far from over-rating itself and yet very well appointed. The service is very friendly but with no compromise that might cover any shortcomings. There aren’t any. Everything, the breakfast, the striking decor, the facilities…….all brilliant.

One would struggle to find anything, unless you were to be not lucky enough with the four parking spaces. There’s certainly plenty of unrestricted street parking nearby.

I booked the Rock House Hotel primarily because of its location in the centre of Maidstone which was only a short walk even after several alcoholic beverages, the hotel was easy to find and I managed to park at the hotel. Dominic met me at reception and was very friendly and helpful, giving me a very good rundown of the hotel and its facilities, which include a lounge and conservatory. My room was located downstairs and had a clean and modern design, the room was spacious and had a fridge, I was asked if I wanted fresh milk for tea/coffee and was given a small jug of milk, which I thought was a nice touch. The room was comfortable and away from the main road so nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travellers.

I didn't have breakfast, due to not feeling up to and no other reason, which was my only disappointment.

Room was a bit stuffy at night. Our room (at the front of the hotel) was bright inside, even with the drapes drawn.

I was in a room 2. Not sure if this happens in all the other rooms but I could hear sounds of people having a shower and the toilet being flushed. Thankfully this noise stopped as the night settled but started again in the morning. Very odd.
