Very scruffy rooms

Very central location and free airport shuttle. It was the main reason to sleep there. Note, however that if you are willing to walk the Tuasa-Buses ride very frequently from the Tuasa-terminal (every 10 min or so) and are very cheap. The free airport shuttle seems to ride every hour or so, so keep that in mind - it's not fully on-demand. Also plan some time at the moment, as there is construction work around the roads of Alajuela and the short ride to the airport may take unexpectedly long (it took us 25 minutes). The beds were very large - I liked that.

The light in the room was very unpleasant - they do not provide lamps by the side of the bed. Also, because the windows are not soundproof you could basically hear everything from everyone around you as the building is built in a very open architecture. Depending on the room you are in you might not have Wifi...we had none in our room and had to walk out into the corridor. The shower needs a bit of getting used to. If you want warm water, don't turn it up too much - then regulate the temperature by regulating the flow of water. The safety of the electrical installation of the shower was questionable...so I kept my shower short.

The building and location are fine, but it needs better maintenance and replacement of furniture. It’s not a place I would bring anyone to. Roaches were seen. It’s grimy… But it’s a decent structure in a good location. If renovated, it would be great.

El desayuno estaba malo y la persona que lo sirvió toda desaliñada siendo un hotel con mucha visita de extranjeros debería cuidar mas la imagen del mismo.

Muy descuidado. Las sábanas estaban rotas y sucias, el inodoro no tenía tapa, la ducha se inundaba. Mucho ruido x la noche.

El servicio de taxi al aeropuerto... Muy puntual La persona que nos atendió muy amable, nos cambió la habitación porque estaba sucia y desacomodada; sin embargo la otra habitación no tenia las condiciones que se ofrecen en la App

La habitación no era lo que se específica en Booking, no tenía pantalla, no tenía aire acondicionado, al llegar estaba sucia y la cama sin ordenar. En el pasillo de las habitaciones había una persona sin camisa y fumando. El calor fue insoportable prácticamente no pudimos dormir.

Noisy, no elevator no air conditioning , no signs of hotel, was difficult to know were the entrance is. Shower is electric and water do not flow well . They do not have security cameras no gel or alcohol. Ceiling fan only. No wheelchair accessible

It was really easy to get to the airport.

It was full of baby roaches. The shower gets floated while showering which is very unpleasant.

the staff were very nice and helpful, the Wi-Fi is good and there are hot water in the shower. the location is good and very close to a lot of fast food restaurants. close to the airport

the one girl that checked us in ripped us off 40000 colonies, I paid 160.00 US and owed her 5 More which I paid in colones she didn’t do exchange correctly and I realized and went to inform them in the morning, I know I gave her 160.00Us because that’s all I had, they said her deposit was 120.00US and the the remainder in colones. not true. They said I would get it back then later No I won’t. She was later very rude my whole stay.

I worked with the front desk to arrange a shuttle to and from the airport on 4.28-29.2023. She was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. When I arrived, she gave me some restaurant suggestions. Overall, she is an asset to your hotel and services. I would stay here again solely from my experience with your front desk employee.

The room's overhead light flickered and gave a strobe light appearance with the overhead fan on. It was headache inducing.

The location is fantastic! Right in the middle of everything. A great park, great people watching, a great municipal market full of little places to eat. I had my first hot shower in 4 weeks. The breakfast was great.

As with downtown locations, it's noisy. I have to say that the noise was worth it for the fun I had in the neighborhood.

Cute place, extremely run down. We only booked to attempt to sleep a few hours before our scheduled flight, since we had a Long early drive to the city from Jaco. The location very central and ideally located, weekends there’s get togethers at the park directly across the street. The museum is across the park, lots of I cream shops. There’s also a university building across from the hotel; pigeons and parrot spend their day here and there’s lots of noise from the birds and traffic. However, all shops and restaurants closes early, and walking late it’s not advisable.
