Cozy, clean and comfortable with great location

Location is really good.
Shower and toilet needed a bit of 'training' to get it right. We got it at the end,

Everything, location was perfect and the house itself was lovely.
Only issue was no garden for the dog but a very minor issue with it being fantastic in every other way

The cottage was excellent. Everything you could possibly want is included. Washing machine, dishwasher and an excellent kitchen, bedrooms, comfy beds. Plenty of room. It even has a parking space. Although very tight.
The cottage next door came with a huge problem. The owner. Our car was a little across the line that marked the bay. No big problem. Easy to rectify. Said owner, a nasty aggressive woman of retirement age, banged the door and ordered us to move our car. The way she spoke made me angry. Never asked only screaming and shouting. " We own our property" Even though they clearly rent out theirs too. Anyway we left a little earlier than planned never to return.

Everything was how it should be - perfect location for exploring The Lake district and only 100 yards from centre of Ambleside and a short walk to lake Windermere. - superb. The facilities and accommodation are great.
There is nothing to dislike about this property really - it is how it is described on the website.

Modern and spacious, waiting with a bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch.
Main mattress hard for our taste.

Quaint property with everything you could want, near to all the shops and bars etc.
Car parking space was tiny. There was supposed to be two spaces but luckily the other space wasn't taken which was a good job as not sure we would have been able to get in and out.
Shower didn't work.

Great location, compact property but setup well for visiting ambleside.
parking was very, very tight… had a job to get out of the car door once parked, if you have a large SUV you won’t get it in the space provided. Quite a few cobwebs in the property, and some mould on the ceiling over the shower, just a small patch, but needs sorting. The bathroom is by the front door, if you need the loo in the night it’s a walk right through the entire property to get to the loo. The balcony bedroom is great, really nice touch, however it creaks like crazy with every step you make!

The location was great.
The leather sofa was not comfy and was cold. Would have liked a TV in the bedroom ( but probably because the sofa was so uncomfortable

Brilliant location and really impressed with the property, looking at the pictures I was expecting the Queen bed to be downstairs but was delighted to find a whole bedroom.Really kind hosts left milk and a bottle of proseco to greets. House was spotless.Loved it .
Took me a while to get used to the settings on the shower but sorted with practise

Dog friendly, modern facilities with great location. Well equipped with plates, mugs, glasses, pots, pans etc and provides milk, coffee, teabags, sugar, salt, pepper, spices, cling film, foil, Tupperware, cutlery toilet rolls and washing up items, tea towels, towels and bedding.
The maintenance team need to perform better checks on the property before letting it out again. E.g. Washer/dryer was broken. The customer service representative was excellent though.
