Clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent room with nice furnishings. The rooms at front have good view over the harbour. Good breakfast. Excellent check in process.

It was clean and near to the haven.

On arrival we were told that we couldn't have a higher floor as requested, because they were fully booked. So what? this booking was made months ago and I could have been told that before the free cancellation period expired. Instead we were put on the ground floor. These were supposed to be Queen rooms, sea view. I asked if we had a sea view still and was told that all the rooms have a sea view....strictly speaking true, but if you think a small strip of sea visible over the back of the car park is a selling point then you are not being straight with your guests and I didnt like that - its sharp practice. Also it just seemed to be two single beds pushed together rather than a Queen-size bed, so again that was a let down.

The lodgement is modern, clean, nice decor, friendly and helpful team there and in the restaurant - which offered great food and drink. Breakfast was excellent, a really good and filling selection.

Good sized room, nice sea views, quiet, super friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. We were on a cycling holiday and it’s the perfect stopping off point. It only opened at the start of 2022, and is owned by the family who run the excellent fish restaurant next door, so there’s a sense of pride in how it’s run. Other small touches- we asked for gluten free bread at breakfast and it promptly appeared with no problem.

it’s an unusual looking hotel that fits into its environment very well. it is modern and impeccably designed. all mod cons are here. the cooling system is efficient and the best we have experienced this holiday. congratulations

Both Dinner and Breakfast was perfect. Peaceful place. New and clean rooms. The Staff nice and helpful.

We had a very lovely stay at Schierzicht Logement in a comfortable and clean (deluxe) room with great views of the sea and the beautiful sunset. It was easily accessible via bus from Groningen, you can explore the national park on foot or by bike, and within walking distance to the ferry to Schiermonnikoog. We got a huge spread for breakfast and also enjoyed a delicious dinner. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We would be happy to stay there again.

No kettle in the room; the hot drinking water (along with coffee machine and a selection of tea) was instead located at the ground floor reception area. It was just a minor inconvenience, and nothing much else to fault.
