My stay at Driftwood cottage was excellent, great location and the old town of harwich was so historic. Lot's of lovely old pubs that all offer great food. The cottage was so cosy and we had the best sleep, would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

My only criticism was they need a fall length mirror to do your hair and see what you look like when dressed.

The location was excellent (for the Harwich International Sea Shanty Festval), walking / cycling distance to lots of interesting places. Cozy cottage with lots of character. Quiet location down no through road. No parking but long-stay carpark within 2mins walk, £3 for 24hrs. Secure back yard for bicycle storage. There's plenty of warning in the cottage description but be further warned, the stairs up to top floor are more like a ladder with carpeted rungs! All part of the fun! You can find fossilised sharks teeth on the beach.

Cooking facilities were a bit sparse - double induction hob and microwave only, no conventional oven and no freezer, just a fridge with no freezer compartment. So we went out to eat! Great! Rather a feeble gravity fed shower, but it did the job.
