location was great. Very private even though on main road in Nosara. Staff were great. Pool and yoga Shala 🤩

Amazing experience, the place super clean, and the bed super comfortable! We loved it, the pool area could be a bit bigger, but we didn’t mind everything was so stunning and absolutely beautiful! Would truly recommend.
We had a bit of an awkward moment, not sure if its was a bit of a missed communication but when we arrived to the reception area hoping for a drink - we were suddenly explained the kitchen was closed and no food was available, to which we said it was ok we would love some drinks and then we were told we were only served if we were staying at the hotel, which we were but found the whole moment a bit abrupt, and we said yes as we were staying there, so they fixed some drinks for us. However after we sat down, the waitress also reminded us that we couldn’t order anything to eat again and we just found it a bit strange, so we ended up and enjoying drinks and dinning out as the location was superb, again we would recommended and we are sure this could have been a missed communication!

Location location, close to the restaurant and beach
Internet stopped working and very slow. Shower heads needed cleaning as calcium buildup stopped the water flow

Need to fix the internet as it stopped working many times and the shower heads need cleaning as the calcium buildup stopped the water flow

We have two adjoining rooms for our stay at the Living Hotel, which was perfect for our family of 4. The rooms were simple, yet comfortable, clean and pretty with a lovely porch to sit on. The a/c and ceiling fans worked great. The hotel itself is charming with lovely gardens and a clean and well-kept pool. There's also a smoothie bar on the premises that offers delicious acai bowls (extra charge). We highly recommend it.

We loved the hotel! Perfect for solo traveling, couples, kids, families, friends, etc. Centrally located in town. A traveler does not need a car, however if you have one there is parking! Jungle feel but in central town. It was perfect. The pool was refreshing, wi-fi worked great. Staff so kind!
There is nothing we didn't like.

Location was great. Nice and quiet, great morning coffee and the smoothie bar was a great value. Allejandro was a big help in offering advice for things to do and where to go. The complimentary bikes and surf board locker was a bonus. We had a double room off the common area and worked great for us and the kids.
We had to leave.

It felt private even though it was fully booked most nights. Alejandro was a wonderful host with endless information and help while we were planning to arrive and while we were there.
Construction noise, but that is present throughout Nosara right now, so nothing that can be faulted of the hotel.

it was small, and clean, and the staff was helpful.
the location was loud.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I slept well three nights in a row -- which is rare. Most hotel rooms in the USA and Europe use these ultra plush/soft mattresses which I hate -- so this was a welcome surprise. They did put out straight black coffee and a selection of teas in the common area outside my room on two mornings (and I had to remind them on the 3rd morning). There was also a hot/cold fresh water dispenser outside my room too. I liked the ambience in the common area outside my room overlooking a shallow pool but didn't have the time to enjoy it (since I was there on business). I also liked that Alejandro at the front desk was so helpful and responsive to my messages through this portal; that meant a lot.
By the time, I paid the taxes, I was at nearly $300/night. But there was no breakfast, not even a bowl of fruit (and I thought there really should have been for the cumulative price paid). I also didn't like that the path lighting between the entrance and my room didn't work and that I had to use my cellphone flashlight to navigate. I reported this to the front desk and they said they were surprised that the night security guard hadn't said anything to them. The prices charged by the coffee/juice shack on premises were more expensive than the coffee shops on the main road -- which you might normally expect for a hotel except that in this case it is all outdoors and so close that you would expect more competition; after all, they grow coffee beans in Costa Rica -- the prices should not be the same as New York City!

Loved the modern and natural interior and design of the place. Great location, and amazing juice bar, lunge and pool, lovely yoga shala as well. The staff was really friendly and helpful as well.
The only thing, which was not a big deal, but the bedrooms are very small and compact, so it could become a bit claustrophobic for a longer stay, especially if you are sharing a space.

the property is in the jungle.
not a single thing

There are monkeys that throw small fruit on the roof of our room at night. The noise was sudden and loud and made it hard to get a full night’s sleep. Recommend to bring earplugs.

We stayed there during rainy season and were the only guests for a couple of days. Really enjoyed our stay there as staff was very friendly and location was very close to nice restaurants and only a 5min walk to the beach. They even had a locked room for our surfboards!

the location is great, close to everything.
a/c in the room was working perfectly which was amazing
when i arrived, the room was fuuull of mosquitoes. I guess when they cleaned, they did with the door open. this was really annoying and i had to go out to buy something to kill them because they were everywhere.
a mosquito net outside would be nice too

Central location, King room with super comfortable bed, nice patio and pool.
Easy check-in and parking spot
There’s a nice breakfast bar (not included and a bit pricey)
Due to construction work in the close building, the patio and pool weren’t so relaxing. (maybe we were just unlucky)

Great location. Nice pool. Friendly staff
Coconuts and mangos falling on the roof of my room every night. Not the best sleep I had

The location was perfect for walking everywhere. Very close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with any and all needs one would have. Also the breakfast at the smoothie cafe was amazing!! Beautiful and delicious! Another great feature is that the hotel has a shared kitchen in the event you would like to make your own food or snacks. It was always kept very clean.
There was nothing we didn’t like.

We like the pool & the location.
The bed was not comfortable in the first room on the right.
4.5
Alejandro was great as were all the staff. Loved the location, the pool and lounging area. Their is a yummy smoothie bar, full kitchen and Yoga space so one doesn’t even need to leave the property. The grocery store is across the street and the beach is a short walk.
