The staff was very friendly, and the hotel is a great location

Traveling with 4 little ones and the elevator was broken for ALL days we were there. We rented 2 rooms but the internet only worked in 1. Half the time we had no TV in one of the rooms. Causes some really important equipment to fail. And least important the Maid replaced my towels but did not refill the coffee, cups, or towelettes. My daughter also booked the same time to spend time with nieces and nephews and she had the same problems.

Only a short drive down to the tourist areas.

When we got there the door to our room was open. We noted this and when we left in the morning pulled it closed tight. 4 am fire alarm was fun, but don’t blame them for that happening. When we got back from exploring for the day we found housekeeping had come and cleaned well. They forgot washcloth and took our hanging towels and didn’t replace them, but it was the door being left open again with all our belonging in the room that worried us. Nothing was missing thankfully. I tried to call the desk to tell them about the door, but my phone didn’t work. I walked down and they seemed to listen at least. Nobody came to check the door or phone though.

Hotel is in a quiet, peaceful location and not too far from town.

The management of this hotel clearly doesn't care about providing a good service, and this is reflected in the attitude of the staff - who just didn't seem to care. The elevator was out of order, the pool was not available and has been 'under renovation' for 12 months, and there was no breakfast available on Saturday - due to it being a kosher hotel. These are pretty basic amenities and services, yet their unavailability was not made clear on the hotel's website or by staff when we checked in. In addition, a fire alarm went off at 5am in the morning - and guests were left to determine whether they should evacuate. Fire engines came and deactivated the alarms but there was zero presence from hotel staff and no explanation offered. It was left to the fire crew to advise guests it was safe to return to our rooms. When breakfast was available it was shocking - $25 per head for some overcooked scrambled eggs, bacon burnt to a crisp, reheated potatoes and some anaemic looking bread rolls - which could not be toasted because the hotel does not have a toaster. Shockingly bad.

Location was good easy checking in and out. The linens, bedding etc. we're very nice.

Coffee maker wouldn't work in the room. The thermostat would not change the temperature in the room, had to cut off completely to stop the flow of cold air. Only stayed 1 night, so not that much of an issue.

The location I’ve stayed here when it was The Hilton. And then it was the Doubletree. New owners once again.

They cater to their own population and closed the restaurant so no breakfast could be served on a Saturday morning, that was much needed. They informed me muffins would be delivered and when i had to go to the lobby to grab one was told they were running late. Needless to say we got in the car to find a bagel. Lastly the bathroom in my room was not as clean as it should have been. Clearly the person who stayed there before me wasn’t bald as evidenced by all the hair left behind.

Big fat ZERO

Originally booked for two nights with a balcony left after one. Nothing here worked NO WIFI despite being told by staff that they were working on it. No pool...Under repair. Door id not lock and as a result missed dinner reservation. Moved our room to a non balcony room and STILL had no wifi and this time no air conditioning. In the morning told my wife "pack we are leaving I will not stay another minute.

I arrived at check-in for a get away with my fiance and the room I booked a few months prior( 1st floor king room with access to outside), description had been updated since I booked and now was not the same. They told me they had no rooms left and only 2nd floor with no balcony or access to outside! Showed them the picture with my confirmation and told them they needed to honor it! Front desk agent went to speak to her manager and because of the confusion they UPGRADED me to a Junior Suite though it had 2 double beds and not a king size bed for the same price of my original booking. We accepted it and it was very nice. The room was quiet and peaceful and was just what we needed for a quick weekend getaway!

In the shower, the water took forever to go down as well as the sink. I was told they were having trouble with the plumbing. Restaurant is closed on Saturday and we were able to find a 24 hour diner for breakfast about 7 minutes away. Pool was also closed!
