It is a 1BHK on first floor with a functional Kitchen, Utensils and even a refrigerator. Maintained immaculately clean by the owner family, who reside on the ground floor. They seem to have decked up the place with a lot of heart, and well thought out. Located in a brahmin colony right next to the big Omkareshwar temple. Very close to Madikeri city center.

Privacy might not be great as there are houses adjacent to it. So, if that's not an issue for you, then its an excellent stay if you want to stay close to town.

As per location it’s situated just next to omkareswar temple so very prominent and secured area All the arrangements were perfect and you will get testy home cooked breakfast Overall it was a safe homely place to stay with your family

I had a great experience at Varam Homestay, It was the best experience staying there, Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place was very well maintained, clean, and perfect for family stay. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Host. They went over and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Host was extremely friendly. The place is very calm and peaceful and feels amazing to stay amidst all the greenery. The homemade food was just delicious!! They were ready to provide food at our convenient time, we requested early breakfast during our stay, and they were able to make it on time. Room was spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience. Overall it was an amazing experience and perfect place for stay! Will definitely visit again.

Cleanliness could have been better. Staircase is steep, narrow and slightly unsafe.

Ambience & locality and truly homestay experience kudos to the family managing this and punctual with their commitment.

Exceptionally good and friendly owner. Felt like being in home.. Clean and neatly maintained rooms.. Nearby various tourist must see places in Coorg, Bus Stand and other basic stores...

Everything about Varam Homestay was perfect. I would highly recommend this place if you are coming to Madikeri Coorg. The owner Mr. Pradeep is the nicest person I have met, he made my trip planing easy and also recommended the best places to visit with accurate details. He also arranged Jeep pick up and drop for Mandalpatti Trek. His wife makes the best homemade breakfast and coffee/tea so don't miss it.

We are a family of 3. Accomodation was upstairs reached by narrow flight of stairs. There was a cozy sitting room, a bedroom with king bed and attached bathroom. The third bed was in the kitchenette. Host was very warm and affectionate. Even did a free laundry. Cooked good breakfast everyday. Walkable to the Main Street. Internet access is thro AirTel WiFi dongle.

Access to the property is through narrow lanes. No signs on the property showing the name.

Hosts are incredibly polite and helpful. They treat you like family, checking with me the night before about what to cook me for breakfast. They also checked in when I wasn't back late, to make sure everything was okay. Super super nice people, delicious breakfast and the serenity in the mornings is second to none.

Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the fact that it was listed as a two bedroom but the second 'room' is just a mattress in the hallway to the kitchen. It's really just a one bedroom. Nonetheless, it's a great place for two people.

We really enjoyed our Homestay with Pradeep and his family. They were very friendly and helpful. the house was very clean and comfortable with a seperate bedroom and cozy living room and attached balcony. the location was convenient to get around Coorg. our stay included local breakfast which was absolutely delicious. would highly recommend.

Varam was a lovely host, really helpfull. The apartment was big, very clean and there was everything we needed. Located in the center of the town, right next to the temple so there was amazing view from the balony. They cook tasty breakfast adjusted to your preferation. More than this Varam makes his own wine named after his son Shimak. If you want to experience hospitality of this region this is the place. 10/10

It's a perfect stay. U can't say any negatives about the room or staff. Even before u reach they will make you comfortable as going to a relatives house. U will be staying in your own guest house with a good neighbor company :)

Location was serene and peaceful right next to Omkareshwar temple. Sounds of the evening aarti were refreshing and filled with positive energy. Varam homestay is also at walking distance from Madikeri fort, Raja seat and other important places to visit. Home made food provided by Pradeep ji and his wife was really delicious. Other than the hearty breakfast with delicious with tea/ coffee, Pradeep ji also offered tea/coffee in the evenings. Loved the stay overall. Will definitely visit again.
