Beautifully appointed hotel in prime location. The bedding was super comfortable and the room was immaculate. I appreciated the robes that were provided.

Staff was stuffy and for an upscale hotel it fell short. The main floor where you came and went smelled like fish and not in a good way. The bathroom has not been upgraded and is still an old tub with cheap surround. Bed was just okay.

The suite. 601 is fab!

Desperately need a breakfast solution. Epic fail

The Federal was a beautiful hotel with lovely art work and a cosy comfortable foyer. The rooms were equally good. comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and with well designed bathrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful and were very welcoming.

I liked everything!

The location is good and I like the ample parking. Having the restaurant 555 North in the hotel is a definite plus.

The absence of a breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. I didn't feel inclined to order a bagged breakfast to pick up at the front desk.

The hotel is updated, has great character, and is well appointed. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was very frlendly and helpful. Associated restaurant was excellet, although they are not open for breakfast.

The fitness facility was small and needed several more pieces of cardio equipment to really be considered complete (they have only one treadmill and one rowing machine). It was quite disappointing to pay a $50 resort fee for a hotel with a small fitness center and no other "resort" features (sauna, pool/hot tub, etc.). Felt like a blatant way to list a cheaper nightly price and sneak in extra fee. Even a $25 resort fee would have been a surprise given the lack of amenities, but at least is more standard in the industry.

Location was awesome. The restaurant too. I wasn’t even expecting any food options and the restaurant is 5 stars! Room decor was nice and comfortable. Nice common areas with comfortable seating.

The AC had an issue our second night but the staff were able to address it. It does make a clicking noise when it starts and stops. Shower water pressure could be better

Lovely, spacious room with very comfortable bed. Easy walk to town.
