We usually stay ocean side but liked the view of bayside with all the palm trees around swimming pools. We loved the rooftop hot tub in the evenings as well as the gas grill which we used quite often. Wish there was a high table and chairs up there so you could sit higher up and look at view. The condo itself was nice, different furniture than what the original pictures shows, the kitchen had all the utensils that we needed. The bed was comfortable and I liked the openness between the master bedroom and bathroom. Sliding door from living room was extremely difficult to open and close so we kept it closed and just used the one in bedroom which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for someone else. We would definitely stay again. Condo was ready early for us and check in and check out was super quick & easy.

30 minutes before we got there, management said there had been a water that had leaked in from a storm they had. I asked if I should be worried and they said no. When we got there, the master bedroom exterior wall and sliding glass door walls had towels and two fans running. They said to run the fans till we go to sleep. They had the fans blowing on the towers not the floor. We removed the towels and the fans were taken out the next day. The water kept seeping out till the third day. The pictures did not match the condo. They were old photos. The kitchen cabinets have a plastic shell instead of paint. The cover on the far right upper cabinet had a 4 inch piece missing along with chips out of other cabinet. The plywood was shown.The recliner had a large spot where a person’s head goes worn through the leather and had the mesh webbing shown. The master bath”s toilet has a slow leak that makes the toilet’ water come on two to three times a night.we reported the leak and a worker looked at it and never came back. The front door is missing a large part of it’s seal and the night before we left,, we had another rain storm which we had to get our beach towel to stop the water from coming into the condo. The furniture is very old. The triple dresser in the master bedroom is old and does not work right. The second one that opened fell apart on me. We lived out of our suitcase. My daughter”s bedroom had a pair of man underwire and a tee shirt with clothes tags in other drawers.. The grill had two tanks for propane for user. Both were empty and the grill was very dirty. Management did fill one tank after a short conversation on the subject. We did not use the grill because I did not want to waste 2 hours cleaning the grill.. A lot of the chrome fixtures had rust on them and the dryer has a rust spot that got onto my daughter’s white bathing suit. This is definitely not a five star condo. It is not worth the money and those that had stayed should get half their money back. Management offered another room but wasn’t a penthouse. Our family goes on a vacation every three years and rents out a penthouse. This was the worst experience we ever had. I have pictures and anyone renting this condo should ask for up to date pictures.

Pent house was beautiful. Location was awesome. However, this unit needs some attention. Dishwasher was difficult to run and sounds rough. Neither DVD players would work. One had no remote and the other wasn’t even hooked up to the tv. And their was no wire there to hook it up☹️. The kitchen cabinets need repair. It rained during our stay and the master bedroom slider door leaked, had to mop up the floor. After the storm, the great room slider became very difficult to operate.. Best beach get aways were inadequate at communicating necessary information like which building my rented unit was in. I emailed and called numerous times before I finally got a response 😞. Not the way to do business. I will avoid them in the future.

The resort and penthouse were exactly as described in the listing. The comments and reviews were spot on as well. We can’t wait to return!

Great place to stay. Only issues we had were dryer and dishwasher. Once we contacted someone those issues were resolved very quickly. Clean place to stay and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to this property.

I was very please overall with this condo and the location. The office was very helpful and super friendly when I called. Overall the condo was clean with the exception of an end table and a tissue on the plantation shutter....not sure how it got up there. We loved the hot tub on the rooftop and enjoyed some beautiful sunsets and were able to see 2 fireworks shows. It would be nice to have a high top table and chairs on the rooftop so we could sit and enjoy our wine. The lounge chairs weren't conducive to that and allow us to enjoy the views. We would definitely consider staying here again.

It was large enough for our group of 7 people and we did not need the sofa bed. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and even a crock pot. My only complaint is the master bedroom. The bathroom and the bedroom are literally one room. If one person wanted to get up early to take a shower you are in the bedroom taking a shower. (No door) There is also a skylight in the bathroom that shines SOOOO bright at 6:00am. There is no closing the bathroom door because there isn't one. It was like someone shining a flashlight in your eyes. We eventually tried to cover it up with towels but basically were up at 6am every morning. Great for early risers. We love the location of Destin West but would not pick this condo again based on the master bedroom.

Great location and amenities! Once you experience the roof top grill, private hot tub on the roof, and the lazy river I don’t how you can book anywhere else..

We visited for Mother's Day and all enjoyed the stay. Everything was as pictured expect one bedroom which turned out to be a bunk room instead but was even better because it provided more sleep space. Everything was clean, staff answered all calls and gave very detailed information before the stay. Will definitely be visiting again!

Great property, located on the bay.. w/ gulf beach access within walking distance. Family of 5 had a great time and took full advantage of all of the amenities. We’ll definitely be returning!

Condo was nice, owners responsive. Great hot tub, plenty of room. Master bed was super comfortable but the Guest queen bed sagged. The pool could use some maintenance, we saw very few maintenance worker and lots of mulch, leaves in the pool. Overall great trip.

We had a great time on our vacation. The staff was very attentive with any issues we had. They had everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation; beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, towels etc. The place was very clean upon arrival!

Very clean, spacious and allowed plenty of room for our family of four. Great view and loved being able to all of the amenities at the property. Quiet area compared to surrounding communities, but still had everything we needed within walking distance.

Great stay. Well stocked. Gorgeous view. Nice furnishings. Very helpful staff that let us check out a little late. Nice beachfront entertainment complex right across the street.

Clean and stocked with all our needed items. Great views of bay and resort.

Very nice condo. Needs some maintenance. The door sweep needs replacing, sliding door tracks need cleaning, 2 of the 4 beach chairs are very rusty, master shower glass needs good cleaning. Beautiful views. Enjoyed the outside amenities.

The property was well maintained and the pools offered a lot of entertainment for the family. We had 8 prink bands but only 7 blue bands were supplied when there was supposed to be 8. We made it work, however I sent an email to let the facility know and I didn't hear back anything.

First off, this is a beautiful condo, especially the master bathroom with it's open design. It is perfect for 3 couples as this was our trip. The rooftop hot tub was great to have after a long day at the beach. The manager was VERY helpful and very nice. Only had 2 issues during our stay, the sofa bed would not pull out, however we didn't end up needing it. The manager called us after the stay and asked us about it and told us that it was covered under the damage protection and to not worry about it. The only other issue was the oven/microwave panel didn't work and it was a little hard to figure out how to work it as the labels on the buttons were worn off but we eventually figured it out. Overall these two small issues didn't affect our stay and the manager described everything perfectly. I would highly recommend this condo for a family vacation or couples trip.

That evening when we went to cook our lasagne it was discovered that we only had a microwave and toaster oven! We called to complain and it was useless! There was no can opener and the furniture was soiled and torn! The unit had not been cleaned well; there was dust on all of the furniture. We were very disappointed!!! The pools were nice and it was very convenient to get to the beach.
