Room. not available when we arrived until 5pm and was not as booked - no balcony or mini bar. The shower was dirty and noise from the next door bar and reception constant. The description on Booking.Com was far from what we got and the extortionate price for services extremely disappointing.

The reception staff were friendly

Extremely noisy - first room had no wifi access and we could hear the karaoke from the bar next door word for word until 1230am. We then moved to another room that was slightly less noisy from the bar but you can hear every word from your neighbor and the bathroom is the size of a closet. We then moved to a final room which was again extremely noisy due the bar and street noise.

Pool at the property is what sets this hotel apart from others in old town area. Location couldn’t be any better either. Hot Guatemalan coffee was available 24/7 for free. Our room had an authentic colonial era vibe.

Noise is a major issue. Despite having solid-looking brick walls room no. 1 next to reception felt more like a cardboard shoe box as the roof is not insulated, plus the door and window are rather thin. A constant stream of motor vehicles late into the night on the cobblestone street outside could be ignored as white noise, but the huge sports bar next door and drunken partygoers returning really destroy any chance of getting decent sleep. This is mostly over by 3 AM but the night receptionist keeps making long and loud phone calls well into the morning. It’s embarrassing really as conversations can be overheard word by word, like in a bad reality TV show. Minor inconveniences include breakfast being served at a different location a few blocks away, no bar at the property, inner courtyard is cluttered and not appealing compared to most other properties in the city. Shower head was broken.

Great location in Antigua, very close to central Plaza area. Easy to walk around. Staff were lovely. Enjoy a water fill station and coffee station given no restaurant or bar.

It would be good if Reception were on WhatsApp. We had a great room with a balcony view, this also meant it was the loudest however the hotel told us this very upfront and we decided to stay in the room anyway because of the view. It did mean there was loud music most nights until 12.30 however we didn't mind.

One of the mornings there was no hot water for the shower, and the bar next door can be loud at night.

Place was indoor/outdoor, our room was separate from people, so you feel more private. Room was right near the pool which was great, quiet and enjoyable before starting out the day. Coffee, hot water and filtered water available all day near it. Water in the shower was hot & pressure wasn't terrible. After a certain hour, front gate was only accessible by being buzzed in by front desk, which makes you feel much more secure. 24 hr front desk. Rooms were spacious. Within walking distance of a lot of main things. Good wifi. Late checkout.

They were a bit stingy with towels. When asked for extra because we were 3 people, it felt like they were counting. Service took a bit long. Beds didn't seem "queen size" and were a bit firm. Water pressure in shower, sink and bathroom could use some work. Lighting in room could be better. Seemed very dim. Right near a very loud and popular bar, so can get noisy (but music stops 1230ish).

The next door bar is noisy as mentioned in other comments. We had no problems sleeping, though.

Great location. Nice pool. Convenient setup for family of 4. Bonus sauna.

Loud music from the club next door. Some leaking from the major rain we had while there. Though expected from an older building and staff were very accomodating.

The location was perfect

the toilet in 1 of the rooms did not work. this is really not good and despite reporting this 3 times nothing was done.
