Riversdale house is an outstanding B&B. This beautiful family run farmhouse is truly a taste of rural Ireland. We had the full sized, heated swimming pool to ourselves at 8pm. Kettle and biscuits in the room made all the difference. The kids loved pancakes at breakfast and the piano and games in the sitting room. On top of all this, our family of 5 shared a family room and the owner refused my offer to pay a breakfast surcharge. We loved every minute of our stay in this exceptional B&B

Breakfast was very hearty. The staff was extremely professional. the kids loved the fare from cereals, eggs, sausages, pancakes that were fluffy. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious. The swimming pool was such an awesome feature for our stay- the kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to come out on the second day. Needless to say- they slept like logs post the swim :)

No wifi in the rooms. and the TVs are very small to really have a good viewing experience. We wanted to disconnect over the holidays so it wasn't the worst thing for us, but it could be a bit of a downer if you are planning to watch something in the room.

Love this B&B!!!. Patricia, Meghan and Graham were all so welcoming, professional and lovely. We loved our stay, they have a great swimming pool which our son (9 years old) adored going into. The breakfast is great, so yummy... Patricia had a vegetarian option just as requested. The pancakes with Nutella are yummy!. You won't go hungry, so yum. All the rooms are absolutely gorgeous and well decorated... cosy, home from home place. Highly recommend it. We got to do the Blue walkway which was brilliant, start few steps away from the B&B and gets u all the way to Ballinamore village... passing by the locks. It was great to see a barge passing by and the family on the barge even explained and let us see how the lock operates. So cool to see. Anyway, check this place out for yourself, it's a gem of a place. Relaxing. Thank you so much Patricia for having us 🙏❤ , we will be back, please God xxx

Everything. We travelled as a couple and 6 month old. Was a relaxing stay, vintage house but so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a nice hot bath with the baby it was big enough! Breakfast was very good and staff were lovely. I would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a great time at Riversdale. It was much more than we expected. Patricia and her dedicated staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and pleasant, even accommodating our small pet which was arranged prior our previous request. The place is beautiful and the 120 years old well kept building is a gem which will give you the feeling you traveled back in time. Breakfast is superb and served in a beautiful conservatory with view to the farm, filling you with plenty of energy to explore the area. There are walks and trails you can take and other things to see nearby. But the B&B is also perfect for those feeling lazy who just want to relax. The swimming pool is a plus and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Definitely worthwhile recommending.
