Our first time (4 adults) in Sheringham and we loved it. Really enjoyed our stay in Salty Towers. Ideal location with the Main Street and Promenade a very short walk away. The accommodation was clean, well looked after and comfortable. When we return to the area in the future Salty Towers will definitely be a consideration

This property had some excellent points but lack of living space and what was not mentioned that you just presume is included let it down a little .
The master bedroom and en suite is fantastic as is the outside space and if you have limited mobility there is a ground floor bedroom but the property is not wheelchair friendly .
It has no parking , no bedding or towels , no washing machine and most importantly no WiFi which is a must for people these days and if I had realised this beforehand I would not have booked the property.
The downstairs bedroom has original features and wooden panelling and furniture which had a particular aroma.
The main plus of Salty towers is the location right near the beach and high street but when the weather is not in your favour the living space can feel quite cramped .

I'm really glad I booked this cottage. The location was perfect with my limited mobility. I loved getting back and sitting by the open door reading. The colours in the main living area were so bright and cheerful. The upstairs bedroom was lovely & the ensuite shower was bliss.

Salty Towers was a perfect hideaway in a busy little town. It is well equiped with a lovely garden. The only slight issue was the comfort of the sofas. They are a bit small and not too cosy. However we have booked again for next year.

We were disappointed straight away by the smell from the bins in the alley then when we entered the property there was an aweful smell there as well.

The cottage was very clean and perfect for my stay with my pup. Near to the beach and shops. I liked that the garden was secure and gate locked. My only negative was the lounge furniture and that the tv was so high on the wall made viewing uncomfortable for my neck. I would recommend to others to stay in this property.

Needed more comfort in the lounge area, and I have never been to cottage where you have to bring your own bedding

Nice quaint cottage. Lovely south facing garden. Town beach and prom on your doorstep. Nice and peaceful, when the jets aren’t practicing. ✈️ 😂 We thoroughly enjoyed watching them, wasn’t disturbed by them. Facilities were good, shower nice and big and hot. Hand soap , washing up liquid , hair dryer. Included. Mother in law not tall enough to see in mirror👵😂. Take your own bedding, towels, t/towels bath mat. Would recommend and hopefully revisit again. 🌞

Our second time here had a great time although I did get a parking ticket for 5 mins on a yellow line from a really nasty traffic warden I know it's difficult parking round there

Really great location, 2 mins walk to the shops/seafront but so quiet. No parking but got parked fairly close on a nearby street.
Very good having a downstairs bedroom & also an en-suite in the upstairs bedroom. Feedback for some improvements would be to have a more comfortable seating area in the lounge/diner (we ended up watching tv on the sofa in the downstairs bedroom) & some cupboard space for food. Brilliant shower in the en-suite.
Has a lovely outdoor area to sit in & overall was a very nice place to stay.

Access is via a dingy jitty lined with stinking bins, very dark at night. Nice garden, first impressions, seems nice inside. You realise quite quickly the facilities are basic and cheap - not even a cafetiere to make coffee?! WiFi is practically non existent as it seems to be in the attached house next door?
Upstairs accommodation is good. Ground-floor you realise this isn't two doubles, the downstairs bedroom is a living room with a (very uncomfortable) pull out sofa bed, no bedside tables, no lamps, just sqeezed in with a full size settee. Not even a lock on the (wierd) downstairs bathroom.
The kitchen dinner is adequate during the day but there is no comfortable seating for the evening, just a couple of minimal perch seats by the back door. We were lucky we had good weather so were out most of the time but would be wholly inadequate if you had to spend extended periods in the property.
Generally disappointing for the money, could be made good for 4 people but needs some serious reorganising and upgrading.

The property was just big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers.
Handy to the town and beach.
Parking was off street but hard to find so paid some days to stay in town centre car park.
Facilities in the property were ok although very little storage for any clothes or food. Garden was so pretty and great to sit in.
The upstairs bed was broken but quickly fixed when reported.
Would happily use again.

Disappointed, squeaky/wobbly beds. No blind in bathroom. Smelly bedroom. One very small living space.
