This was a stunning hotel. We were a little worried on arrival as we thought it was closed....however we were greeted warmly after ringing bell at door. There was a court yard at front of building where we were able to park our motorcycles. The hotel was like a French Chateau. Very charming. Gorgeous room with a coffee/tea machine and also a well stocked mini-bar. We received a lovely breakfast served on beautiful china. An amazing one night stay. The restaurant was closed but we were directed to a small restaurant in the village which served a limited but nice meal.

It was a shame the restaurant was shut while we were there, but luckily we were recommended another nice restaurant in the village. There was nothing about the hotel that I disliked, it was lovely.

A veritable gem of a location, rooms have a feel of staying with your well off relatives. Memory foam bed, modern shower with excellent water pressure, old fashioned furniture. Got the top floor room as requested, total silence in the night. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, so my late arrival after hours in Stau was soon forgotten.
There are no restsurants nearby I know of, so come prepared. Like with a bottle of Chimay in tow ;)

A wonderful small hotel. The breakfast is beautifully prepared with great extra touches like home grown herbs with your morning eggs. The rooms are super clean.

The atmosphere was superb and the room was stylish. And so was the entire hotel. A lot of care has been taken to make the stay it this hotel very special. And a very friendly staff with clientfriendly attitude.
Breakfast was also extraordinary.

The restaurant was closed, and the only other place to eat finished serving before my arrival at 7:30pm, there was no air conditioning, only a noisy fan and it was extremely hot, it never met my expectations as when I booked, it never said the restaurant was closed

Beautiful rooms in a tastefully renovated building. A charming mix of traditional touches and modern amenities. Excellent breakfast, fast wifi, easy parking. Family run with warm and helpful service. Highly recommended.
