This cabin was just what we were looking for! The surrounding area was so calm and peaceful- we really enjoyed the quiet while sitting out on the deck. The dining area was small for all 8 of us to sit for meals but we just divided up and sat at the table and on the deck.

We actually didn’t end up staying at this property but stayed at a property in Powder House Pass due to an issue with this property. The home we were in was AMAZING!! But the even better part was the communication from Jonna and Deadwood Connections regarding the switch of homes. Totally recommend them in this whole process. Thank you for taking such good care of us! We will stay again!

There were fans blowing on the basement carpet, we were told because of a heavy rain, but that caused the basement to smell. No bother really, no one slept in the basement. Location was a bit far from everything we were interested in, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Hill City, Keystone, but super close to Deadwood and a decent distance from Spearfish. Property manager was awesome, we had an issue come up late at night, she did her best to rectify that evening, couldn’t, but got it taken care of the next day. Two of the four mornings we were there, we were woken up by the sounds of docks being moved around the property by heavy equipment. One morning it was a load of boulders dumped by a dump truck and then two mornings later, woken by the sound of a skid loader moving those boulders around the property. I would have liked to at the very least had a heads up that would be happening, and would’ve preferred it hit happen at all.

A three day stay at the cabin was peaceful before the summer crowd set in.

Great location, close to ski lodge. Everything we needed & was able to accommodate us for extra days when we were snowed in. No better place to be snowed in at!

We enjoyed this house very much! We went skiing all day and then the kid enjoyed all the game options and the hot tub! The propane in the grill was empty, but the owner reimbursed on for getting it refilled so we could enjoy grilling on the deck.

Check in was easy. Very clean and comfortable stay. Hot tub was comfortable with 4 adults. Plenty of parking for three vehicles two big trailers and 10 sleds. Parking is however on a slant, and we had to pull one vehicle with cheap tires up and out.

Well…I agree with several reviews. Cabin is not conducive to small children, limited areas for luggage, to much furniture and stuff in such a small place. Highy recommend to limit guest capacity to 8 or less people to stay comfortably. Owner and manager worked together to resolve multiple issues which arose during our stay.

Pictures make the place look bigger than it is. Nice place just very tight kitchen and dining area. Not much room in the bedrooms for your bags. Definitely could use a deep clean. Lights, bathroom fans, and corners were very dusty and had webs.

We rode motorcycles, and had a truck and trailer, the driveway was a little rough for motorcycles. Overall it worked well for our group, plenty of room.

This cabin offered everything we needed for a fun relaxing quiet stay.

Plenty of room for our family of 5 adults and a baby. Large furniture made it difficult to maneuver on the main floor, but there was plenty of seating. They had everything covered as far as amenities go, almost too much as there wasn’t much room left to put away our things. Kitchen was well provided for with dishes, glasses, and flatware. There was a Keurig as well as a regular coffee maker. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Upstairs loft had a video game table. Downstairs had air hockey and a DVD player (and a hot tub available, although we didn’t take advantage of it). Plenty of parking out front. We had a good time. Enjoy.

Home was just the right size for 11 people. Lots of fun games and activities for the kids. Close to area attractions and restaurants.

It was great having the whole family under one roof. Next time we will bring our own pillows. It was a little warm on the top floor but the place was really clean and the hot tub was wonderful. We all had an awesome time. We would go again.

We came here for a girls weekend and absolutely loved it! Everything about this cabin was great, we had 11 girls staying there and it was plenty of room and they have a lot of kitchen things for you to use also if you plan to do your own cooking! Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Enjoyed the house

A group of four of us girls stayed here last week for a getaway. The location was ideal for hiking, shopping, and outdoor adventures. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own sleeping space and the beds were clean and comfortable. We loved using the hot tub as well. If I had to be critical of anything it would be that the bathroom rug in the basement bathroom was soaking wet and smelled bad when we checked in, and some of the towels were still damp too. We just set the rug aside and threw the towels back in the dryer. Overall a great place to stay and I’d have no trouble recommending it to others.

We came to ski so great location. 60 second drive to the slopes and a little long to walk with littles. Clean and more kitchen equipment than I was expecting

The cabin was a great getaway with friends and all of our kids. It was very clean and nicely furnished. We found some great games for the adults but found the cabin lacking in child items or games. In some other cabins around the area they have had a few toys and games more oriented towards children which is nice! Would that deter us from staying again no. The manager was accommodating to our slightly early arrival. When we went to use the towels they were still damp but probably wouldn’t have been had we not arrived early, but that wasn’t an issue we found some other dry towels and popped the damp ones in the dryer. Like all the three story cabins, the basement is freezing and the top is an inferno, but that’s just the name of the game with these cabins. They have nice bedding and extra for the downstairs if you get too cold. Also a window upstairs to cool it down up there. My only suggestion would be to tell people you have a Keurig (big plus!!) and to indicate that one thermostat is for the gas fireplace and the other is for the forced air.

A great location for our family ski trip. Location to Terry Peak was perfect. The property manager responded promptly with our question.

The cabin is nice size for a short stay. No bedrooms have private bath, which is clear in the listing. Just be aware if that could be an issue. Kitchen had good selection to cook with. Refrigerator was good size and very clean. The loft was great bonus sleeping space but no window coverings on the south side could be an issue for early sun in the summer months. Loved the decor. The air hockey table, hot tub, satellite tv and WiFi all provided elements for good RnR. Check in and check out were quite easy! Thank you!

This property was amazing! The location was great. It was just about a 10 minute drive to Deadwood! The property was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. My only complaint were the beds were not comfortable, but that sometimes comes when staying at a rental. The check in was extremely easy! There was also a hot tub which was a nice touch! Overall i would HIGHLY recomend staying at this property!

We had a great time! Very conducive for a big family get together. Only negative was lack of WiFi. Didn’t see that in the listing.
