This is a great property for a family fishing trip with kids, no matter what the weather is. There is protected water and quick access. Also, the owner is the best and full of information about the area. We fished without any mishaps even though it rained multiple times over the weekend.

This was our second time at this property. The first time was 2 years ago and we were vacationing with our daughter and her husband. This time we were with my husband’s brother and his wife.
This VRBO again did not disappoint. The location is perfect, the view is magnificent, the house is clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked. The host, Eric, does such a great job of making sure you feel welcome and taking care of any needs that come up.
We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking in the bayou, and spending time on the ocean-front (5-10 minutes away). One day we went to New Orleans to the WW2 museum and one day we took a charter fishing trip. We caught a mixture of flounder and speckled trout - enough to have fresh fish for dinner with the remainder being frozen for later.
The best part of this VRBO, though, is relaxing on the back porch with morning coffee, and again in the evening to watch the amazing sunsets. We left this VRBO vacation reluctantly, but feeling rejuvenated! Recommend highly!

We loved our stay at this home! We brought our boat down, Eric, the owner, was fantastic in helping us get it situated, giving us great ideas on where to take our family for boat trips, and helped us find all of the best restaurants. He is truly a very kind owner and made us feel very much at home. And his pup, Trace, was a complete joy to play with. Aside from boating, there are so many fun and close things to do with family. The house was the perfect layout for us… Two great bedroom suites on opposite sides, living and kitchen in the middle, it was a very quiet home and neighborhood, and the most beautiful views, both evening and morning off the back deck. The home is very well appointed, comfortable, and our entire experience was one our family enjoyed very much! Thank you, Eric!

Beautiful and comfortable home located in the heart of the coast. Back porch overlooks a beautiful bay and private boat dock. We loved being able to let our small dog wander in the fenced yard. The home is on stilts so there are stairs to climb but we found it to be invigorating. The description of rental was accurate. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed for a two-week stay with friends. The owner, Eric, was friendly, kind and helpful. We used the Kayaks and the fishing poles. The best part though, was watching the sunsets every evening. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t enjoy about this place. The rental also had great hot showers and comfortable beds. We look forward to visiting again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Eric was a great host. The view off the back porch was amazing. We loved being able to walk out on the dock behind the house and jump on our boat. Eric was very helpful with boating tips and places to go. He even helped me launch the boat. We highly recommend renting this property! Hoping to go back again soon.

We stayed for four nights during Cruisin' The Coast and towed our classic car. There was ample parking for the truck, trailer, and car. And the owner, Eric, even offered for us to park in the grass or his driveway (next door) if we invited guests back to the property. The house was really great. Very clean, new appliances, memory foam mattresses, big television, nice linens, and fully stocked kitchen. A safe neighborhood just far enough removed from the congestion and traffic on Beach Blvd. We hope to stay again.

We had a fun and relaxing time at the house. We launched the boat at the local boat ramp and quickly docked at the house. We unloaded the SUV and went to dinner. Early next morning, we were at the Gulfport bait shop and then back for some fishing. After fishing, we went to Ocean Adventures and saw dolphins, rays, and a sea lion. Then we went home and rested. As the sun went down, we went fishing again, while part of the family took in the sunset on the porch. Rinse and repeat for a perfect weekend.

I cant say enough good things about the house, and owner! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we could possibly need. Mr. Snell was the perfect host, he greeted us shortly after we arrived. He showed my kids how to fish with what was available at the house. His precious dog Trace was a big hit with the kids too. He's the sweetest and most well behaved pup.
Mr. Snell gave us great recommendations on where to eat and take the kids for fun. We had the best time! If we find ourselves in Gulfport again I hope this house is open!

Eric, our host met us upon our arrival to ensure we had his number in case we needed anything. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the community.
The property was spotless and well furnished. We spent several days in the area and the location of the house could not have been more perfect for visiting the different communities. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching all of the boat traffic going through the bayou. We will definitely rent the house again for our next visit to the area.

This was by far our favorite stay we have ever had on vacation! The host was wonderful and such a nice person! We never had to worry about anything. The host even kept us up to date on incoming weather and tide levels. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This is a wonderful place to spend time away from home. In fact, it feels like home! Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, there were so many things to do nearby that we stayed as busy as we wanted to every day. We saw two of the resident eagles, a small alligator a couple of coves away, and several herons spent time on our dock! Eric is always available for questions and he maintains this house very well.
And, of course, Trace is a joy to watch! Thank you, Eric, for another lovely get away!

This is a great place to stay in a truly awesome location, right on the bayou! We really enjoyed staying here for a short get-away. Fishing off our own pier was fun (caught a flounder and a stingray!). Would definitely come back! Eric was super friendly and very helpful and accessable.

We came here behind a massive freeze to hang out with friends and catch fish... but the weather was brutal before the arrival, so fishing was moderate (we caught a great mess of channel cats and drums). Property was excellent-- great for 2 couples and a few kids. Eric was onsite (lives next door!) and fixed our grill instantly (probably something dumb we did). The property is great. Access easy. Location perfect to escape the casino bustle but excellent access to food and shopping. Great dock for pontoon!! Loved it.

This property exceeded my expectations and was the best VRBO I've stayed at in the past 5 years. The property was very clean, spaciously decorated (i.e. room to move around without a lot of collectables and other decorative items everywhere). The decor was beautiful as well as the views overlooking the bay. A comfortable king bed, like new washer/dryer, beautiful and modern kitchen, a stunning deck with comfortable seating overlooking the ocean inlet, a relaxing soaker tub - just everything one would need for a relaxing stay. The location is nice and eclectic, close to grocery shopping. I did short trips to Ocean Springs, Long Beach, Pass Christian, Gautier, Biloxi, and Bay St. Louis - all were easy beautiful drives along the coast (or you could take a faster highway to arrive at these locations even faster). I visited primarily for Christmas on the Bayou, a beautiful night-time boat parade that went right past the house - I was able to watch from the deck and it was lovely! Great host too, very helpful and friendly. I need to research other fun events in the area so I can return!

This place feels like home - the kitchen has anything you need (we cooked often and found anything we needed already there), the beds were wonderful, lovely decor, and even a dog yard if you need it. The host was a treasure, the best we have ever had on VRBO. He can tell you where to eat, and where to shop! Having access to our own private dock was priceless, and the area was perfect for kayaking, even for the "less experienced" of us. We fished from dusk 'til dawn, and caught brim, bass, flounder, catfish, and even managed a few crabs we could cook for dinner. Whether having coffee on the back deck while watching the eagles play, or listening to the resident heron announce his dismay at our presence on his turf, the mornings will remain etched in our memory for years to come. The sunsets were different, and marvelous, every evening - especially from the view of a morning kayak drift. Many seem to avoid the beach during this time of the year, but we found it to be one of our favorites. We hope to come back again. Five stars all around.

This is a hidden oasis in the spectacle of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. If you enjoy quiet family time and enjoy paddling or fishing, this is the place. The host is super helpful and responsive. We will be coming back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Our kids absolutely loved having the doc right out the back door! It was a great experience for them. The home is very clean well maintained. Eric is an unbelievable host! He made us feel welcome and was available any time we needed something or had questions. Our stay was fantastic!
We started our trip with watching our boys kayak and fish while we sipped cocktails from the deck while the sun slowly set. It was fantastic.
The spacious two bedroom two bath beach house was the perfect relaxing getaway after days full of doing all the tourist things.
We loved the covered deck for our morning coffee time and to grill a yummy dinner when we were tired of eating out.
The owner was next door during our trip and very friendly. He made our stay so easy.
We would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay!
My husband and I stayed at this property with my daughter and son-in-law and our 2 spaniels. A great time was had by all! Eric was extremely responsive to my requests for information prior to our arrival, and his recommendations for eating and activities in the area when we arrived were on target. I so enjoyed coffee in the morning on the back porch watching the wildlife, and the sunsets were always beautiful! The guys loved fishing off the dock! The home had one of the best equipped kitchens I have ever been to. The pups enjoyed the fenced yard and just hanging on the porch. We took a trip to New Orleans one day to the WWII National Museum - that was very worthwhile. We also rented a pontoon boat and explored the various coves and went to Deer Island. We enjoyed Gulfport beach as you can park close and it is not far to carry stuff! So much to see and do. We all hated to leave, and I know we’ll be back.

Fabulous Mini Vacation!
What a wonderful mini vacation! The property was conveniently located to everything we needed. Property was clean, comfortable and perfect for us and our two Yorkies. The owner was gracious, helpful with ideas and things to do. We are spoiled when it comes to beds because we have a memory foam mattress that we love. Master bedroom had a fabulous memory foam mattress that was perfect. FYI: The “Walmart Neighborhood Grocery” is less than a mile away and takes “Pickup Orders!!” Plenty of general supplies and spices were supplied, that will get you through the first day there. There is a single serve maker/coffee pot at the property. The small “Doggie Yard” was perfect for keeping our small babies safe. The whole experience was fabulous and the Alan Jackson concert was the “Cherry on top of our Cake” for the weekend!! Thanks Again Eric and we look forward to coming back soon!
